I accept I might be being harsh with their budget but I honestly thought the football was minging whenever I watched them..

Kilmarnock could have easily beaten us on Saturday. Under Brendan teams were lucky to get one chance over 90 minutes at Parkhead.

Lennon’s already said there’s things tha need changed, he just isn’t stupid enough to implement it at the end of the season when we’re still fighting on two fronts. Too much, too soon * you majorly.

I disagree on the first point, we flex our muscle and back the manager (whoever we get in place) in the summer then they can’t compete. They’ll flirt dangerously close to going bust to stop that in anycase.

To stop Neil Lennon lifting the 10 they’ll liquidate themselves again :56:

We are averaging fewer points and fewer goals under Lennon - which is understandable, to some extent.

We are one point better off, but our league form is demonstrably poorer, mate.

I think he's for the off but if that was an audition then it was a pretty good one..

Patched up side and at time's they were so composed and played pretty good football..

    Still don't want him but..

Which makes it considerably worse looking from the outside in, because Lennon has claimed that he wouldn't change the style of the football from what Snakey * left (stated he would be leaning heavily on Kennedy), and was arguing back against claims that he HAS changed the style.

Now, many of us having been following football for years, and have a decent "armchair knowledge" if you want to call it that - Lennon has 100% changed elements of the style, regardless of whether or not he publically wants to argue that.

As for the argument about it "not being his team" - well, clearly it's NOT his team, but to suggest that's some sort of defence for the bang average football we're playing with by and large the best squad in the country (some injuries aside) is nonsense.

His remit for getting the job till the end of the season (I assume) was to win the league and the Scottish Cup - IF both of those come to fruition (league is within one point of our grasp) and he has managed to steer us to the final of the Scottish Cup final, then that is what he will be judged on.

If/when he is appointed manager on a further contract, then he will be judged on whatever team he builds from then on.

But let's not deter from the fact that the performances have been (Aberdeen semi-final aside) pretty poor.

I for one was delighted when he was appointed manager, and still think he was/is the best man for it at the time until the end of the season, but whether or not he should be appointed full time AFTER the season finishes is questionable, albeit even if it is outwith the hands of yer average joe Celtic fan.

    The huns did.

Rodgers won 7 out of 7 after the break and created an 8 point gap. Lenny has drawn 3 out of 8 and the gap is smaller than it should be.

Must be because Lenny’s a Celtic legend. Because if it comes down to managerial ability, then I completely disagree.

I know that but he has made the gap bigger if we are using stats, my main point is this whole performance thing is not just a Lennon problem. I sat through some amount of * going back as far back as last season. And I don’t think Lenny is getting it anyway mate.

Did the huns score our goals and win our games?

Levels have been poor since he's cane back but he's got the results on the whole.

Question is should he be getting more from them even from a new manager bounce effect ( if you believe that stuff) alone. Arguably yes however for balance the rat struggled with the same issue this season and it was his team.

I'm not sure it will get better year but I seem more hopeful than some if he's given cash to put his own stamp on it.

I'm not as convinced with Lenny as I was but don't think you can say it's a step back mate.

I'll tell you all one thing. With all my years following us I wouldnt like to second guess that board of ours. Expect * anything.

I know mate, but it doesn't always stick in my mind who opposition managers are.

Even if it did, 2 games against his team isn't going to tell me everything I need to know about the guy unless I research.

No, but their poor form allowed our dip in form to work in our favour.

We’ve picked up less points in 8 games under Lenny than the last 7 under Rodgers. He’s literally had a worse record, so the reason that a bigger gap has been achieved is down to the huns failings, not us improving.

    Really?

How many leagues and cups has Steve Clarke won?

How many Champions League games and Europa Leagues has he won?

How many last 16 of the Champions League has he taken a team into?

As much as I'm either unsure or unwilling to have Lennon in as manager after the summer, to suggest that Steve Clarke is a better manager is just plain stupid.

How many point were we ahead when he left? And how much is it now? You can only control our own games, I honestly don’t get your daft argument about that mob.
