    Hello, mates.
Sorry, but I don't think that Celtic have chance to have any player of Russian national team. Some of the players will go to the top European clubs, and the others already play for the clubs in Russia that are at least the same level as Celtic. In addition the league in Russia is much stronger, and 4-5 teams are struggling for the title.

This exactly makes them good enough
If they would play, you don't have a chance to get them.
Actually, you can try to get Lee Ho, coz Kim Don Jin is among starting 11.
As I said, Russia is not the country there you can buy good players from. There is no lack of money there. So our big clubs will sell thier top players only to the top European clubs, and your club is not among them. I don't thing that Celtic is stronger than 4 big russian clubs (Zenit, CSKA, Spartak and Lokomotiv) and Russian league is better that SPL, so I don't see the motivation for good player to move to Celtic.
    Sorry

:56::56: mate just because Zenit whipped Rangers doesnt mean there amazing. If that had been us Zenit were playing then I believe we would have been going up the road to Glasgow with the Uefa Cup. As for the other comment on the other clubs Celtic would beat any of them if we got them in Europe, nobody had heard of Russian teams before you's got a money influx remember :86: Shaktar Donetsk is a better team than CSKA and Lokomotiv.

What would you define as a "strong" club?

Need to ask this before I rip right into you.

I think the patronising tone our Russian friends seem to take can be partially attributed to the language barrier tbh.

Either way i do hope we pull Zenit out the pot and show the angry mob how it's done.

Hey, mates, I didn't say that Celtic is a bad club. I said that your league is very low quality. You understand the difference?
BTW, Do you remember the games against Spartak (especially that in Moscow?). It was pure luck and reffery that you qualified to the champions league. And Spartak is not the best team in Russia.

AH OK so it was luck was it. Thats fair enough then. Is is luck that Russia are in the semi finals of the European Championships??

You have to remember that when those games were played, you were half way through your season and we had just started pre season training.

So to summarise, even when we are half fit, we are better than you.

I actualy hope we get Zenit next year in the Champs league :50: we would take any of the Russian teams at home comfortably I think because Shaktar Donetsk are probably their level or maybe more. He basically said we are * but because we aint a big club because players dont want to come to us and that the 4 teams in Russia are better :97: Venga Espana the night !!

Living in Russia as I do ( I am a Scot married to a Russian) I know how they think. He is not being Patronising Russians genuinelly believe they are stronger in all things. The Russian League has improved drastically over the last couple of years and players are attracted there for the big salaries. He is right in saying it is a competetive league but that is all that gives it an edge on the SPL. Bottom line is when we have come up against Russian opponents who comes off better.

Amongst Football lovers in Russia they until this season only really knew of Celtic and Aberdeen in Scotland because of games played against there teams. They dont like the team from the dark side so they cant be all bad.

Yes you say of the one in Moscow but Spartak were at home and we might be the shittest team of all time away from home in Europe and we managed to get a draw that says something does it not :97:

lol Spartak were a third through the Russian league when we played them in the qualifyers, that was one of our first competitive games of the season! match fitness played a massive part. if we played Spartak during their preseason, but half way through our season, we would beat Spartak 3 or 4-0.

Zenit is the only Russian team that could give us a run for our money, if played on a level playing field. Locomotiv...* off, they're barely a football team.

the only thing valid you have to say is that we have a poorer quality league than the Russians. which is no surprise due to the money and the lack of border regulations in Russian football.

I can repeat it again, you are not a bad team, more of that, you are a good team. But, sorry to disappoit you, Celtic is not top European team (as Spartak and Zenit not). My point is that good players from 4 top Russian clubs will not join Celtic becouse
    1. Celic is not better club
    2. League is week

Mate, it makes my crazy to read your bullshit.
If you are such a great club how could you almost loose a title to such a team like Rangers?
And as I understand your games against them are equal, so you are basically at thier level. And we saw in UEFA CUP final that is thier level (and therefore Celtic level also). Sorry
