Maybe certain players are already dreaming about a lucrative move to more exciting clubs / leagues....

    Here’s one.
Would you honestly be as confident of winning the league under Lenny as you were under BR?

remember when Rodgers was our manager we were getting beat in games like this. We aren’t as good a team as people think we are and I think Lennon is doing quite well all things considered

He’s gained (and then lost) points since ‘he’ left... but it’s the overall performances that don’t feel right.

Even though he’s undefeated since coming in. It’s not convincing at all!

What do you mean he was getting beat in games like this? He lost 8 league games in over 2 and a half seasons.

Its all ifs and buts, but if we’re being honest we have had a bit of luck with a few very very late injury time goals to clinch 3 points instead of dropping 2.

Will be over the moon if we can bring in a top tier manager who has something new to add, just think it’s unlikey we will push the boat out to find one. Also happy sticking with Lennon. Since Lennon has came back the squad seems happy to have him here going by some of the interviews. Won’t be holding Lennon completely responsible for some of the turgid displays of late. As others have said it’s been like that most of the season. Squad overhaul in the summer and pre season to get his game plan in order and who knows how we will look next season.

Have to say i felt Lawell had the idea of appointing Lennny temporary with the hope he would win the treble with us dominating games and playing exciting football.
However as we have all seen our performances have been at best average and less than inspiring and we can only presume Lawell is seeing what we are seeing.

Same people now criticising the performances under Rodgers are probably the same ones who were raving about us under him when posters dared to criticise Rodgers at the time.

If I'm honest I don't think he'll get it based on current form. I knew very few people...family, mates, boys at work that were up for it. Even my old boy who wasn't that against it said to me yesterday he fancied benitez. This is indicative right across the support imo and lawwell is no one's mug and will know this and also wants full grounds.

However, he may end up the best option. What if none of the big names fancy it?? Personally I'd rather him than Moyes, Keane, Clarke, even Martinez imo.

That is NOT an endorsement for him by the way. I don't see many on here shouting for him to be honest. The shouting seems to coming from the other side when all people are trying to do is give a bit of balance!!

You really can't take anything from player interviews like that. When they get asked would they be happy for him to get the job on a permanent basis are they going to say "* no, I think we can do much better"? They have to be positive about what they say knowing he could be their boss for the foreseeable future.

    Just look at United.

Every player talking about how Solskjaer was the perfect choice etc. They’ve chucked it since he got announced permanently.

The fact we don't have a Dembele or Griffiths plays a big part. We need another striker. We are creating chances but don't have that killer instinct. Its fine margins in my opinion.

    That’s a perfect example.

A man the fans were too afraid to write off or voice that they didn’t want because they didn’t want to speak badly of someone who was a great servant for their club.

People have got to look past this.

The fact that a loss to Hibs away in December is being brought up constantly to justify Lennon getting the job shows you exactly where we are here.

You asked the question which sort of game he as talking about. I answered. Picking and choosing which games and parts of games or seasons we should attach importance to and not allowing others the same courtesy is just stupid pal.

We never won there under Rodgers did we? We also got beat our last two times at Tynecastle and our last game at ibrox.

Does that not show the problems we are seeing in the team where there before Lennon took over ?
