It's done the opposite. Rather than blasting the ref for spurs going out tonight the right team has went through.

Oh right sorry, I read too much into it.

I'm still a Barca fan after Celtic even though I will always love Virgil and Victor, they had specials times here and definitely became Celtic fans and played for the shirt. Victor recently was asked what his favourite goal was (this was after he was awarded Spurs Goal of the Season) and he said his goal against Barca for Celtic :57:

Virgil mainly as I said before for him agreeing to stay another year and he wasn't even born a Tim, he must've respected us so much in his time here that he agreed to stay another year to help us out even though all that money from down south was on offer. I don't like giving Brendan a hard time but I must've posted at least 20 times in various threads that we shouldn't get our knickers in a twist about Brendan because he's a Tim and a Tim would understand our situation more than anyone and first of all I'd be surprised if he left 3 seasons from History considering his start which must've make him think it was very possible to get 10 but mostly even if he didn't do that he would at least give us a season's notice so we could have time to rebuild and pick a new manager. So for an ambitious player from Holland to act in such an honourable manner compared to Tim who travelled the seas to watch us, I thought that was quite special and it suggests Virgil appreciated what the club and fans did for his career.

Anyway, I don't like Brendan bashing, can't for get what he did here but I just can't believe I was so wrong, it didn't even cross my mind he wouldn't give us a season's notice half way through a season. Did he leave us that * Congerton too? He better not have.

I'd hate to see Virgil get slaughtered by Barca and of course especially Messi. I love the guy but Messi can make every living defender look amatuer and it's unfair because he's afreak of nature and against any other forward (except) Ronaldo VVD would probably have a great chance against any forward line.

Think is, Klopp is highly intelligent and he's already been in a final so he might have worked something out.
The way I've seen Ajax playing, I'm not convinced Barca would definitely beat them, they are pretty potent and Messi can't do anything about Barca's defence.

I would love Virgil to get a UCL medal just like Henke but I think he has time, I want Messi to get another one. Messi is almost * like to me and many others of course.

Tell you what though, I wouldn't be upset if Liverpool do play Barca in the Final and Virgil has Messi in his pocket, I wouldn't put it past him. Boetang was supposed to do that though......:55:

Didn't watch the game but did see a couple of the goal replay, didn't look like it touched his arm tbh.

Only saw Aguero twice, first time looked off and then second seemed on, wasn't focused on it mins you.

Now I want Barca and Ajax final with Barca winning 30-0.

When Paul said explain it to an idiot, what made you think he was talking about himself? :fear:

Just showed the other angle on the highlight where you can see the contact clear as day. Hargreaves and the presenter both see it, undeniable. VAR didn't show the ref that angle for some reason.

Haha I'm very reluctant to follow that train of thought and query 'is it because he knows you don't give a * ripping the pish out of me and he's a bit feart?' :52:

CelticMad shites it from Paul. I think your initials make people take a step back, once a Catholic always a Catholic , I think there would be a lot more people returning to Chapel if this was the Eucharist, Blood of Christ:lager: Body of Christ :treble: * is that?

The other two angles are inconclusive, do you think the VAR guys are sitting watching this like you and me? And the other angle shows Laporte look as if he touched it with his hand, is that then a penalty?

I can't help feeling lamentfull for Ronny, we'd have won the Treble his first season in charge if we had VAR. Imagine the SFA and Findlay tring to word an excuse of why VAR would be terrible for the Scottish game, especially the remuneration of the referees who might give up officiating completely if every decision they make against Celtic is undermined, even their Spot The Ball winnings would be in doubt :redcard: wait Collum :40: Goal Celtic :party22:

It hits his arm mate, I could see it from all angles. That angle is absolutely conclusive though , and the ref didnt even see that view.....

So because some * on twitter says it then you believe him, do you honestly think the VAR studio do not show every angle possible?

It’s the fact fans are in a state of euphoria for a minute only to be told later on its for nothing and the whole 4/5 minutes waiting about is a shambles.
