Which of course should make it impossible for him to have results like today.

I have no idea what you’re talking about.

People criticising his record at Hampden were backed up by facts. Maybe I’ve missed something, but I don’t remember anyone saying we will never win at Hampden as long as Lenny is here. Just pointing out that his cup record in his first spell was dire.

I’m not saying he has a good record at Hampden. I’m on about the clowns and panic merchants on the week leading up to the game.

I’m sure some people were going over the top, but I can understand people being worried about today.

We had someone create a thread saying we should be hoping to lose.

That should tell you pretty much * everything.

Another manager coming in and failing tells you nothing about Lennon and how he’d have done.

Nah but Lenny’s history at us gives some measure of surety about his success rather than a gamble.

Which is what I literally said about 5 minutes ago? Some absolute clowns on here.

That was a while ago now and the league was a lot different back then. Yeh he’s got the experience of being in that environment. Doesn’t mean I’d take Ronny Deila back. But whichever manager you hire, it’s always a gamble.

Did anyone actually agree with him? One guy said something * stupid. Wow.

The snidey “Lennon’s * at Hampden but” comment is exactly that, snidey. People quite rightly pointed out that his record at Hampden is poor. Today doesn’t change that.

It should change it. His current record at Hampden in this period at Celtic is 100% with an emphatic victory. That counts more than historic results.

I am being snidey. If you’re annoyed get it up ye.

He done great at Hampden today, enjoy the result and don’t get sand in your vag over the fact Lenny delivered it :50:

It doesn’t change his record in his first stint, which was what people were talking about.

    Talk about making * up.

I didn’t come on here to slate him, and I haven’t. I replied to you making a snidey comment about people who have doubts over Lenny getting the job. That’s it.

We should hope to lose.....ffs this place sometimes!!!

Missed it as i was travelling down from up North but demolished them by all accounts.

    Well chuffed for Lenny!!

Wasn't gonna hang him out on the strength of today and by the same token wouldn't go too far and say he's a shoe-in either.

However, for me, he's always ticked an awful lot of boxes. Done a really good job in what i think was quite a difficult situation for us!!! Probably still my No 1 as i've heard of nobody better yet imo.

So one utter crackpot (who was lambasted by every comment) is indicitive of general concensus?

Lenny shouldn't get the job imo, that hasn't changed today. It's based on his record here last time, Bolton and Hibs. My opinion, and the opinion of plenty of others. It doesn't equate to us wanting Celtic to lose.
