My fear is they go for someone just like Ronnie and not use their imagination and go for someone who would have a bit more pedigree.

But it's easier said then done, I've no idea in wider europe who would be attainable and has a better pedigree than Ronnie.

Voted lenny at the start and after seeing who we have linked to....still gets my vote
AVB could be another idealist who rips any soul out the team, or who knows...could be excellent.
Martinez, doing a great job at Belgium bit look at that squad. Different ball game here.

He starred the 10....He will still finish the 10

And just what is enough in your opinion?

It has to be remembered that he took on another mans team with many injuries and tired legs after a long season. I think too many people are prejudging Lenny and actively trying to find faults and blow them way out of proportion just because they want some big name manager in, which is just pie in the Sky IMO.

Lenny will never ever walk out on us the way the Snake or any other potential big name that comes in will likely do, and that's the bottom line for me.

What if he doesn’t complete the treble? How will you feel then?

After the winter break though we’re ripping * apart, so don’t think you can blame tired legs personally.

Said from the start he’ll do a job for us til the end of the season but we should be looking for better, and the drop in performances has backed that up, for me

I'd still give him the benefit of the doubt because it was not his team. a manager needs at least 2/3 seasons to build a team, then you can judge properly.

I’m no defender of the board, but Rodgers was a very ambitious appointment and they deserve credit for that..

We should explore all options, however, there is an element of risk in appointing a foreign manager, especially a young one.

Managing us is a bit of an unique gig, a draw is a disaster and you’re expected to go from playing Hamilton on Sat to competing in the CL in the midweek..

Wim Jansen stopped the 10, but for various didn’t stay around.. a mixture of British based and foreign managers have failed in managing us..

Appointing a manager who doesn’t know us and the game here, comes with more risk than giving the job to Lenny.

If we go foreign they need to have experience or the strength of character to come in and lead us..

Lenny did walk away from the job before, understandably, but nevertheless walked away.

I was 50/50 on Lenny and my opinion on him getting the job is solely on how the team performed since he has come in. What reaction, tactics and results he has managed to achieve.

The results have been good, performances, tactics and game management has been poor at times.. he still has a chance to get the job but he has definitely not done enough so far..

    Sun is a big test.

You don’t get 2/3 years at Celtic. I’m not giving Lennon 2/3 years then judging him. He even got his team together a lot quicker than that last time. He’s inheriting a very strong team, it’s not like we are in pieces and our last manager got sacked. I have no doubt the snake would have completed the treble treble. If we don’t do it with Lennon, it’s not hard to work out why.

There just isn't a budget for a top manager. We sold Dembele for 20mil and replaced him with a 2mil project and a winger on loan who we are trying to play at CF. This is a HUGE red flag to any potential candidates

So if we got in someone like Rose, how long would you say he should have to build his team?
