    Aye mate, I’m undecided myself tbh..

    All Lenny can try and do is put himself in the best position possible. Hopefully starting with Sun.

    They had * defenders to be honest, I do admit he liked to emphasize the attacking side of the game more than the defensive side of the game. However for me they were kinda living on borrowed time in the PL anyways, no real striker, mediocre defenders and a couple of decent creative players while also having to deal with losing their best players like N'Zogbia, Rodallega, Moses, Diame which took its toll as they struggled to replace most of them with similar quality.. In my opinion him keeping them up the three years before that was mightily impressive because a lot would argue the Bolton side or even the Blackburn side that went down in 2012 were far better than Wigan who stayed up that year.

    As for his tactics, imo the two FA Cup games vs Everton in the quarter finals which they won 3-0 and the final itself vs Wigan are two excellent examples of how Martinez can adapt to specific opponents. At Everton he had some good results over the likes of United, Chelsea and Arsenal too. With Belgium the finest example of him beating a top side tactically is the victory of Brazil in the world cup quarter-finals.

    Debatable, I'd say they're of a similar level.

    Come on mate.

    Rodgers beat Livingston and Aberdeen at home. His record against Aberdeen was fantastic. Lennon did neither. We were a baw hair away from dropping points against Dundee and Hearts too.

    We are fumbling over the finish line here.

    This * talker is probably getting at Red Star Belgrades manager - Vladan Milojevic. They are unbeaten this season and only lost 1 game last season. To be fair last season;

    Played 37 won 32 drew 4 lost 1 scored 96 conceded 19z

    This season;

    Played 30 won 27 drew 3 lost 0 scored 80 cended 16.

    He obviously knows how to set a team up

    What about Livingston and Aberdeen? Do we ignore them?

    That guy talks a load of *.

    However, that’s the sort of managers we should be looking at.

    Pretty sure that’s the same guy who was claiming he knew Katic’s agent and the news about him joining the Huns was a lie.

    Katic was confirmed about 40 minutes later.

    Perennial * talker.

    Of course not but I do think people underestimate just how big an effect BR leaving would have on the club and just how well Lenny’s done to keep the negative impact to a minimum.

    We should be trying to get the best manager possible no matter if Lennon wins every game 5-0 or loses every game 5-0.

    For the avoidance of any doubt, and for probably the 4th time in 24 hours.....

    My point isn’t that we should necessarily appoint Lennon as permanent manager this summer. It’s that the notion that he’s done poorly since stepping in is incorrect based on the results he’s achieved so far and the results Rodgers achieved in the same fixtures.

    Not sure too many people are saying Lenny has done a bad job, so to speak. Just that he’s done nothing to suggest he’s the best man for the job.

    And Rodgers second season was some of the worst performances I’ve seen at home, this added to our worst ever league start in over 20 years this season. The problems of performances have been there before Lennon came back in tbh.
