He is a brilliant coach mate, I would have him before any of the names being mentioned. He is more than just a mad * tbh he is totally dedicated to his role as a coach. Yes he is at Leeds but that doesn’t diminish his ability imo.

 

I know he is but that ability hasn’t won him much in his very long career so far. 4 trophies in 28 years.

 

It’s not really surprising given some of the teams he’s managed, yes it doesn’t look good but the man lives and breathes football. Give me that over the emperors new clothes * like Martinez or Villas-Boas.

 

I agree with that, I really like Bielsa but mentioning Pep and the likes, doesn’t do the guy any favours. He’s a name I’ve championed on here a few times, him and Bilic were ones I was wanting for a long time. Right now, I just want Lenny, a safe pair of hands, qualifying for Europe and 10 in a row.

Names like Martinez is giving me the * fear. Tactically inept as I’ve ever seen.

He had one of the greatest single seasons of all time at Porto in 2010/11 - An invincible league win, winning both domestic cups and the Europa League ( Quadruple )

His Tottenham side finished with a club record 72 points in 2013, and he was offered the PSG and Madrid jobs as a result.

He won three trophies in 2 season with Zenit including the title in a very competitive league and had them performing well in UCL

Villas Boas has achieved far more than Lennon. The two aren't even comparable.

Don’t buy the whole Lennon is a safe bet patter. He bottled the only league challenge we’ve had and has bottled so many big games he really should have won. Hibs were * awful before he left and were only getting worse.

I think our standards around the whole club will drop dramatically if he’s here permanently in all honesty.

From the training, the players mentality, the ambition from the board and the support.

 

Aye I don't quite get that either. His cup record for a start sort of proves that to be a myth.

 

Heard a story that Rodgers got all sorts of performance software installed on iPads etc. Very technical *.

The days after Lennon returned he’s getting shown around all the fancy software but stops them mid-sentence to say he just needs access to his emails

 

Even Ronny had to get analysis for the youth department when he joined because their wasn’t any and the youths couldn’t track their progress

He said something in one of his press conferences like he hadn’t ever had meetings at Lennoxtown with the other departments before and had to get used to that and the technology.

As much as The Snake was completely clueless and negligent in some departments, he absolutely took Lennoxtown to a whole other level.

 

One of the greatest single seasons of all time! * me talk about hyperbole, and I remember the state he left Spurs in when he was sacked. Maybe he should’ve took those jobs he was offered, as I said I’d stick with Lennon and use the money saved on the team.
