Someone said last week get money on Martinez got a text today saying he met Desmond and Lawwell informally last week in London. His brother in law Paul used to work with my Mrs in Siemens Wind Power his wife is from Lanarkshire and I am going to stick a wee £20 on it if odds are decent

Martinez is one I wouldn't be shocked about. Scottish wife and seems to rate Maloney as a coach.

He’ll probably stick Maloney on the bench. :56:

If all that is true, why on earth would you tell everyone before putting your bet on? :56:

Martinez took Caldwell off us. A very nice thing to do.

An appalling thing for his club though.

Not sure about him at all.

Although his does try to play the game the right way, and would probably share the professionalism Rodgers had in terms of training and preparation, I don't think he's as driven or as ruthless, so would be a bit of a worry.

Martinez doesn't have the mentality to manage a club that needs to win every week he would crumble.

I could probably come round to Martinez, but have a feeling it's either going to be Lennon or Moyes.

...I don’t know actually. Not gave it much thought, I would have liked Rose as well but that options away now.

Definitely not Martinez, would stay as far away from him as possible, I genuinely think he’s a shocking manager.

I can’t think of anyone who I’d trust implicitly to be able to walk into Celtic and hit the ground running.

All stops will be out over the next couple of years for us to lose the 10. I don’t want somebody learning on the job what it means.

Martinez was rated good enough to manage one of the best National teams in world football at this time.

I know, it always * baffles me that.

Watching him with even world class players he’s tactically inept. Starting De Bruyne as a defensive midfielder at the start of the world cup there. * idiot man :56:

Would you accept Marc Wilmots on the same strength? He did take a shining to Celtic in his time in charge of Belgium.
