There is simply no need to bring a flare, banger or smoke bomb or whatever to a football game.

Another chance to villify the entire support for the actions of one person.

If it happened at a hun game they'd be calling it the actions of a "lone supporter", or going "there's always one idiot in the crowd".

When its a Celtic fan they talk about it as if the whole support are throwing them.

They're even linking it to other incidents where fans of other clubs were racist or physically attacked players, without mentioning that it was other clubs so it sounds like those were Celtic fans as well.

Aye, there are a fair few neds in the away crowd in particular that seem to think they can get away with anything at the moment. By and large our support is fine, but these * are starting to frustrate me with their nonsense. Same with the throwing the chairs through the pub windows at the weekend. Get a life.

It's all too often met with some whataboutery regarding the huns on here. Yeah, they're animals. That doesn't mean it's OK for some of us to be too.

It's a * banger. It's daft and pointless and typical of away fans charged up and I would rather we didn't do it but it's nowhere near as serious as those * on BT sport were making out.

Not true. Its only a banger when another club uses them.

When a Celtic fans uses one its called a bomb/missile/hand grenade.

I wouldn't say they add nothing to the atmosphere either the smoke ones are good and d the GB 67 display was incredibly.

Seen it on the instant replay, fragments went close to the keeper if not on him, so it was very close indeed.

No matter how it'a dressed up, it's a * moronic needless act by some waloper and does * all for anyone.

It's nearer the fans. The goalkeeper gets a fright because he can't see it and isn't expecting it, but it's done * all to his hearing.
