Then what manager that will realistically come to Celtic will deliver this goal? * what manager full stop will realistically deliver this goal?

I don’t know. I’m not paid the money to be looking for the best possible candidate.

Mate I could go on about this all day but I suspect we’re boring every other * on the forum.

If you’re that interested in my opinion then message me.

He probably will win those, but even if he dosen't it has to be considered that the current team was not built by him, if given the job I'm sure there would be changes made and only then could you give a proper assessment.

I still think people are living in "LA LA" Land thinking we will be able to get in a top level manager and be able to hold onto him in the event of a couple of decent European runs.

Lenny was the man for me when he came back, even more so now with the major hurdle cleared on Sunday.

Not really. I'm happy to agree to disagree

Time will tell if he is a decent appointment or not. Of course he might not even get it then the point is moot.

Exactly like his last season at Celtic, pedestrian turgid football, he’s not the man to keep us on the path to 10.

He looks too ratty and emotional and I think it creates a nervousness on the pitch that wasn't there when Brendan was on the sidelines who was very professional and clinical in his approach. Maybe he cares too much.

    What game did he watch?

Saying we were great, Jozo and Burke were excellent...

Love him, and as a caretaker he's done an excellent job so far with results.

In terms of how we've played and him getting it permanently? no chance, our football has been dire.

We aren't getting a Rodgers again.

That calibre doesn't have anyone we'd be able to afford and entice to this league.

My heart wants Lennon, Brown and KT to lift the 10 but in reality I don't think Lennon can get us there without getting * off with the board like he did with his first stint.

If he's not given the job, I'd not be surprised if they go for another Ronny in all honesty.

I was The Snake’s biggest critic on here...

But * * the standard has dropped dramatically in a few weeks.

Usually you say give a manager a preseason but I’d be seriously worried about a preseason under Lennon.

He keeps saying that he hasn’t changed anything since taking over. He identified weaknesses in our game early on in his reign, but hasn’t done anything about them.

Honestly gives the impression that he’s asked Kennedy what drills and sessions the squad did under Rodgers, and just thought “yeah let’s just stick with that”.

You’re the manager Lenny. You can change it up a bit.

There was points in the game where Lenny was sitting in the dugout and Kennedy was up standing right in front of him and Lenny couldn't see the game :56:

    Was clear as day..

Which would say a lot for their respective records in the cup competitions.

Lennon doesn’t know * games which inevitably leads to panic.

Lennon’s old school. He seems to think of * isn’t working the best thing to do is scream and shout and hope for a reaction.

    Footballs changed.

Weird. I think he’s completely changed too much already.

The players look completely clueless as what to do a lot of the time.
