It’s nice but our injuries this season have * me off

It seemed like under snakey we never had a full strength XI going into an important European game. So frustrating

 

Didn't help when the rat * ran player's in to the ground. KT and McGregor for example. Broony he admitted publicly through injury. Benkovic after the sheep away and then *. Rogic with knee injections every game. Christie thrust in to the side after no a lot of football. Edouard rushed back at time's this season..

Could go on and on..

 

I'd like to see us try something like this, next season:

Unfortunately, we'd have to drop Forrest, or shoehorn him into the team, and he's one of our most effective players.

I reckon Shved will be a starter but. Maybe even in the 10 or you could stick him up with Edouard. Rogic can't play month's on end and Forrest is really due a rest soon anyway..

 

For me whatever manager we have or whatever formation we end up playing the team has to be built around McGregor in midfield.

 

Think Sved might do the business out wide left , all we really need is a Rb and CB starters

Surprised Lenny said we need a big overhaul????

 

If we’re serious about wanting to get to the last 16 of the CL or deep into the Europa then we need a * of a lot of work done on the team IMO.

 

We haven't gotten through a European knockout round post-Christmas since 2004. I think that may be beyond us now realistically, with the way money is in football today.

 

Think he can play anywhere behind the striker and even up top now and again..

Very very exciting player he looks..

We do need an overhaul. Boyata, Lustig. The loans Benkovic, Burke and Weah possibly. We don't know the script with Griff or if Bayo may go on loan so we may need another striker in. Plenty of deadwood needs shipping out still. Allan going. Compper. Izzy. Bitton. De Vries. Mulumbu etc..

I'd like to see an upgrade on Sinclair if he signs on reduced terms..

Henderson, McInroy, Johnston, Okoflex need regular game time on loan if they're not getting it here..

Plenty of work to be done..

 

Salzburg got to the Europa semis with a budget smaller than ours last season.

Look at some of the teams who got further than us this year, they aren’t all dwarfing us with finances.

Even if it’s just to get into the CL and be respectable without progressing I still think we need 4/5 players.

 

Where would u improve on the starting XI possibly Lw bit I've got a feeling Shved is going to he class, 9nly other thought is Eddy out wide an sign a proper no.9 or if Thumb comes back stronger I would put him there??

iam happy with Bain

an 3 out of Brown, McGregor, Christie, Nctham and Rogic as the middle 3 plus still got Eboue to come back in there

Shved is a new signing out wide , same as Bayo up top who apart from a few mins we still dont know about , hopefully both are the answer

Leaving majority or if not all of the budget on a Rb and CB imo

There are a few relative unknowns (Eboué, Arzani and Bayo) who might yet make an impact. Our youth academy is producing some talented players. Our squad is littered with substandard players though, and in the summer, we are set to lose half a dozen key players.

 

Nonsense mate. It's tough, sure, but just look at Eintracht Frankfurt and Slavia Prague. If we can't aspire to equal those two teams we may as well pack it in.

 

Bain has done well since he come in but we need a lot better for Europe. Lennon has said a few times before that he likes his keepers to be big so I wouldn’t be surprised if we sign someone in the summer.

If we’re going to be playing a number 10 in Europe I don’t think Rogic is anywhere near good enough.

Sinclair and Hayes aren’t anywhere good enough and Johnstone isn’t ready to go in and play regularly in the CL.

Genuinely don’t see how you can look at our team and think all we need is a RB and CB. Our squads full of bang average players and deadwood.

 

I’ve posted something similar before.. for me this first formation suits our midfielders best and there’s goals in every one of them.

Forrest could play that 2nd striker role and be given a kind of free role. Or we can change formation to suit. Variations in formations that utilise us the best is what I want to see from Lennon or a new man.
