Theoretically you're right but it doesn't work like that for us. We played it against Hibs at Easter Road and were exposed down the wing for their 2 goals and were laboured in our own attempts to hurt them.

If ever there's a line to give you the fear it's "using Boyata effectively as a full back".

 

Although I'm a big fan of Sinclair, he's been to ineffective in these games for a while.

The last time he had a good game against the Klan was the first derby match of last season, the 2-0 game. Can't remember him having a decent one since then.

Think Burke would terrorise them with his pace and power. But does that mean Forrest goes out on the left? Or do we stick Burke on the left? I'd probably go with Forrest on the left.

Also... although I'd * love to see Rogic back, I wonder if starting this game will come a bit too soon for him.

Their defence is pants, look at any goal they concede and it is avoidable. I don't think they will go defensive as they have to win this, a draw just makes things worse for them. I'm not even sure they know how to go defensive.

 

They tried to be defensive against us at CP, and it was basically a 1-0 domination against them.

There is no * chance on Earth they will be sitting back on the 31st. They will try and come at us straight from the get go, and that's when they are dangerous

 

Dangerous but also very vulnerable. Their defence is poor, Goldson, Worrall, Katic, barisic, Flanagan and Haliday are all *. Tavenier is mediocre

 

We've got 60k fans roaring the team on , we'll be doing the attacking.

 

Low score draw or !-0 to us,as bad as they are,we have been poor recently and unless lennon can change things in one game i can see this been tight.

 

Their defence is horrendous.

If Sinclair decides he wants to play that day, Tavernier will be handed his * on a plate.

Same with Forrest, he'll absolutely roast Barasic.

Goldson and Worrall are the two I'd love to see them go with, because both are * honkin (Worrall worse than the poor Katic).

but aye, like I say, they are dangerous on the attack meaning our defence are gonna have to play a blinder also.

Ajer was good in the Mestalla against Guedes when we had 10 men a wee curve ball..

Also gives us good height at set pieces the 3 at the back and Burke and Edouard..

Don't trust Sinclair in hun game's. That front 3 terrorises them..

 

Lennon likes a diamond formation, and tbh I think it would work tremendously against these gobshites.

Rather go with natural wingers , and get at them down the sides with Forrest and either Burke or Sinclair on the other side, it's one of their weakest areas and if they intend to defend deep that's what we will need to do to open them up , especially if it's halliday or even barasic , and Taverneir can neither defend.

Some of our best wins against this mob have been with loads of central player's even McGregor left wing but tucking in, so wouldn't be surprised with something like that..

 

Tierney will have Candeias in his pocket the entire game, woeful player, but it's Kent against Toljan/Lustig that will be our main worry. Not that Kent is anything special but they will target us there no matter who plays. For the amount they go on about Morelos he's shat it everytime against us and was pish when they won on the 31st.

Their midfield has no flair, if we have Rogic playing they won't get near us, could see Christie on the bench for this, coming on at 60 mins for Rogic when we're winning.

In defence they are honking. That Goldson is one of the worst centerbacks i've ever seen for them, makes that Cardoso * from last year look like Maldini. Worral and Barisic are shitebags too and forrest will have barisic * himself.

If we turn up, we'll win 3 or 4 nil. Actually hope Morelos plays instead of Defoe as, for as pish as defoe has been, he'd be better for them in this game.

 

If Rogic and McGregor plays they'll not get near them too slick for them, And with Rogic you can't get him off the ball and he's always got that moment of magic in him or shot from distance.

That's a good a starting XI as we have.

I've been choking for Burke to get a game on the wing, with the space these * will leave he'll absolutely terrorise them. How many we score may depend on how * his touch is on the day but.

 

Can you throw Rogic straight in from out the cold? We should dominate the game so you would say yes. If the huns give it a go like at greyskull the Rogic is as good as a man down.
