Maybe this will help you. This is what I wrote:

"Our away form hasn't changed from after the break. Nor have the results."

Just as Neil Lennon played his football, he will give his all to bring success to Celtic FC.
He won't hide and won't * the bed when the odds are against him.
He understands the importance of all the topics up for debate today and I would rather have him in charge now than anyone else.
He may not be everyones choice for the future but surely no one can question his commitment in the pursuit of a triple treble and the holy grail of 10IAR....can that be said about many of the other potentials who are out there....No.

So lets back the man and see where it takes us: Hail, Hail.

    "This isrewriting history. "

In reply to me saying Rodgers was brutal most of this season. I think you're the one rewiring history and cherry picking facts. The facts are the season didn't start in January and we were brutal for the majority of it away from home.

I'm aldo not sure we would have won the games Lennon has if Rodgers had been in charge since we have more often than not struggled away to hearts under Rodgers and couldn't beat hibs away in his entire time in charge. There is obviously no way if knowing that though but if Rodgers was in charge right now and we had the exact same results we've had under Lennon I doubt as many people would be complaining, let alone saying he's not good enough to be our manager.

He'll have to be judged at the end of the season, results just now you could argue are 'transitional' until he implements his style of play. I don't believe some of the players here who would flourish under rodgers, are lennons type of player which is worrying as we might have a much much bigger squad change than anticipated this summer if he is kept in the job.

it has to be the right decision, not just based on emotion and sentiment because Lennon is a fans favourite. I never buy the thread that there is no competition up here and its going to be a stroll to 10. Things change extremely quickly in football, has he got the temparement and the ability to fix things under severe pressure when there is a lot more at stake in the next few years? (moreso pressure from his own fans who are so used to winning the last decade)

    The results have been fine.

The football has been amateurish. The hallmarks of the Rodgers era in good times and bad - conviction, discipline and professionalism - have been remarkably absent.

If our poor performances were the result of low morale after the events of the past month or so, or the team struggling to adjust to a radically new philosophy, then fine. (Lennon, by his own admission, is looking to tweak Rodgers' system, not dismantle it, although he is clearly failing in that respect.)

Our approach to the end of the game today, as much as it was ultimately effective, was embarrassing. We looked like a school team; there was no thought behind anything that we did. We were rudderless, and the blame for that lies squarely with Lennon.

No one wants to see us hit the resit button before a tilt at nine- and ten-in-a-row. Lennon has until the end of the season to prove that he can refine an already successful team. In the meantime, the board should be scouring the globe for the best available candidates for the job.

He has managed to scrape some very important results so far but the performances are surely a concern.
Today and last week, nowhere near good enough.
I love Lennon but doubting whether he is the long term answer.

Football is all about very fine margins. Today was a very fine margin. I'll grant you today
may have been viewed more dimly if we had squandered more points but we didn't and that is all that matters at the business end of the season, and with the transition between manager and interim manager.
I am not saying I agree or disagree with you, because I had reservations myself during the match thread, however it is results that count, even if they paper over the cracks, but in this case they can be forgiven I think. Results.

The game with Aberdeen and the two Sevco games will be defining, but I am bolstered with the return of Benkovic, and hopefully Christie, Rogic, Nitcham, Boyata etc.

    Too early to judge yet.

The truth is our team is not as strong as it has been in previous seasons. We have had a number of injuries and the upheaval of BR leaving suddenly.

Our right back position, creative midfield and strikers have been changing all season. With limited success.

Lennon cannot be judged on a few games.

I think people forgot how dull and boring we were last year under Rodgers. The dismantling of the animals at Hampden and the 5-0 mauling at Celtic Park glossed over a very average season.

The history books will show a treble last year but we were woeful for large parts of the campaign. We’ve also been poor for the majority of this season. A good start after the winter break but we weren’t up against anything.

The best I’ve seen us play since the invincibles season was that 5-6 week period when Christie came in and seemed to invigorate the team. We tailed off again after that. There needs to be massive changes to the squad in my opinion.

Team is still in transition , we have 5 loan players Lennon may or probably may not want , different style over time but we are still showing we can win.

3 wins and a draw so far. with tynecastle and easter road negotiated through all the upheaval.

Give me the same gloss when we next play the Huns and I'll be happy.

If we play like that vs the huns we will get beat , no tempo or urgency simple as that and they made it difficult, terrible performance to watch but we got the 3pts.
    Home different story maybe.

Was an atrocious game, that there is no doubt of, but * it a win's a win.

What I will say is though, our football has been incredibly dire this season anyway. Lennon has stepped into a job where the "heart" has been ripped out - i.e. Fraudgers * off, it's not rocket science to think that certain players will be having to adapt to Lennon, and vice versa.

If the fitba is * for the rest of the season, then so be it. As long as Lenny keeps delivering the results, then ultimately that is all that matters. He's playing with another man's team, and if I recall correctly the fitba wasn't that good when Fraudgers first stepped into our management seat up until that glorious Hun game at CP.

If/when Lennon gets the job full time, we will see him have HIS players in HIS formation. Only then can he be judged on the fitba. Until then, his primary remit is to retain the league title. After that, hopefully the Scottish Cup.

    That is all.

The huns heads have gone down, they have got nothing left to play for but go through the motions.
Slippy is meant to be for the off.
We won't play like that against the huns.
