    Getting what his ego deserves.

It's insane to think he's still "only " 23,we could have been talking very differently about our youth set up of he's potential didn't get wasted

KT, Forrest, Mcgregor, Johnstone, Ralston & Miller? & true real Demeble and Feruz all in the same team

He's just not that good. Overhyped, failed deliver at any level on any stage after the age of 15. 23 and never scored a goal? There's wasted talent, being wrongly advised, and there's just plainly not being very good. He's all of the above.

2 and a half grand a week and he signed a new deal in 2014 as i think he initially impressed in the academy early on, that was 10 grand a week. No sure how true that is but he was also put up in a paid penthouse in and paid by Chelsea and I'm sure they also bought his parents a gaff..

For someone who is clearly a wee * and pretty *....he's caked it in for doing absolutely fuckall for 8 year there..

He has a 3/4 million quid gaff sitting doing * all in Lenzie.

I don’t think he’ll be flipping burgers any time soon.

Aye he will. Soon as his playing days are over (which looks shortly) and his gambling addiction starts, his house reposessed and out on the streets he'll be begging McDonald's to take him on. We *.

He was at the youth level, he just completely thought he’d made it and had no work to do when he got his move to Chelsea.

He wasn’t good enough to chuck it at 15.

perfect example of why the English system is a poison for young players, they suck up anyone with a bit of talent and then send them off to a youth team for years, all the best teams hoard any young talent they find because the can afford it, in doing so they ruin tons of players by not playing them.

EX-CELTIC wonderkid Islam Feruz has been released by Chelsea - four months before his contract was due to expire.

Feruz - who left the Hoops for Stamford Bridge in 2011 - was shown the door last month after failing to register a single first-team appearance in eight years with the Blues.

The 23-year-old was tipped to become a top-flight star after moving south.

He was even once compared to Brazilian legend Romario by former SFA performance director Mark Wotte after his stunning displays for the Scotland U-21s.

But Feruz appeared to lose his way following off-field troubles and several dismal loan spells.

We told in January how Somalia-born Feruz was trying to win a deal with Belgian * outfit RFC Seraing.

Two months earlier, Liverpool’s Scotland captain Andy Robertson raved about Feruz’s talents in an Open Goal interview with Si Ferry.

The duo played together in the Hoops youth ranks before Robertson’s release.

Anfield idol Robbo said: “He was the golden boy, obviously.

Celtic did everything for him and rightly so. He won every game for us really, scoring hat-tricks all the time."

Feruz played just 16 minutes for Blackpool during a disastrous 2015 loan move which saw him return to London after a social media gaffe.

During his new side's 4-0 defeat to Brentford, he tweeted: “This team take more kick-offs than corners.”

In a rare interview three years ago, he urged Celts starlet Karamoko Dembele, now 16, to learn from his mistakes.

Feruz said: “I’m not going to go into every detail but if I could turn the block back then I would definitely have stayed at Celtic for longer.

That would have given me more experience and a better chance of playing first-team football.

“Listen, I had my head turned at 15 years of age. I didn’t realise there was money involved in football.

“I just played football for the love of the game.”

He’s a Si Ferry interview away from retiring.

Don't really care anymore,if he finds a club at whatever level and starts enjoying his football again then good for him.
