I woke up this morning and can barely move my ankle, i tried to stand on it and just couldnt and its * killing me. I was not doing any exercise yesterday and never hurt it, also its not swollen. Ive no idea whats happened and not sure if i should phone the docs. Any ideas, and the wife has assured me she has not battered me for snoring.

depends if you have one of these metal frame beds with the bars at the end of it you could twist your foot in there, happened to my mate once turned out he had given himself a hairline fracture on his foot in his sleep!

I have started training for the 10k in September and woke up during the night with cramp in my calf. Jesus Christ, it felt like I was being stabbed in the leg or something....f'ing agony!!

    I agree :50:

On a more humerous note I once knew of someone who broke their leg while lying in bed and no they weren't up to anything:56:

Don't know about spraining your ankle sleeping, but you can certainly sprain your wrist in bed! :86:
