    Done a great job in the league where the team don't come under a great deal of sustained pressure but couldn't understand that in Europe you need to defend well. Had the same problem with Liverpool when he took them into Europe couldn't get the required results.

    He's not got the money available to make any kind of mark with them ,Man City,Spurs,Arsenal,Liverpool,Chelsea and Man Utd all streets ahead, And money dictates football.

    At best he gets them further up the league, no trophies , stabilizes them then hopes a bigger club will look his way.
    The alternative they dont improve and are drawn into the bottom fighting where his stock would be nil.
