Brendan Fraudgers!

I am as gutted as anyone how this all turned out but I am beginning to think we have won out of it big time! We get 6 million for our manager and bring in a great replacement and keep our good form going.

Brendan done well for us plus we got 6 million for him that incredible when you think about it. Then we bring in a celtic great in Neil Lennon who has had already had success at the club and knows the script.

I think he'll regret his decision to leave during a history making season but he's not left us without a great squad an 8 point lead, in the cup too and well compensated.

 

He can’t be all that bad, we got more for him than any other manager previously.

 

Don't want him to set foot in Celtic park again.

 

Just seeing his comments at the press conference, we totally respect the work you and the coaches done here and the trophies won under you. What we don’t respect is being lied to and not having the decency to wait till the end of the season to say a farewell to the fans and players. Using Tommy Burns and your ‘love’ for the club to gain our trust to then snake us goes against everything Celtic stands for.

For that I will never support you as a human being or manager but respect the fact you are top coach that brought us great domestic success.

 

Close friend to dembele confirming what happened in back round In summer and last seasons winter window Rodgers is a slippery * told him he had plans to either go leicster or Newcastle and he would go first and would bring him along with him.... Then Chinese offer came in and asked the same question....the real reason he wanted to keep him from going to lyon.... The winter before hand he tried to push him on a move to Brighton literally tried to convince him to go. Ovb the football agency br is involved in are corrupt to the core. Moussa says he sent a message thanking Rodgers and he never replied until months later when lykn played City

Actually think regards to lennon we are getting a better manager than we got the frost time as well he's went away two different clubs different budgets players and surrounding he's a more mature experienced guy now

Trying to take a whole back room team which is true is despicable that's not bullshit that alone is justice enough for people to be upset..... The Danny mcgrain story is true again enough for people to go hold on a minute the record now has the story of what happened between him and dembele..... And that is the worst of the lot stopping a guy moving to lyon because he wanted to pick him up when he moved on to leicster or Newcastle guy had been planning it all along

Got this text sent to me the day off a mate. Apparently explaining what happened

“So the boy Harry Brady is quite in with the board. Interviewed lawell and interview Rodgers ECT so usually knows a wee bit about what's going on. He's been quiet for a while but went on a podcast yesterday and basically said this happened... Rodgers was approached by a Chinese club (remember Chinese league is super rich) and offered 8m signing on plus 10m a season to move there. This was at the VERY start of the window mind when he kept talking about puntin dembele and KT. Apparently he tried to persuade dembele to go with him as well. He then goes to the board and says he wants the job and Desmond and Lawell get him to stay an agree a 2m bonus if he qualified for CL and 4m in shares which would match roughly what's he was offered as a signing on bonus. They gave him assurances that he would be backed and we sign eddy for 9m. Everything's fine team playing well and happy days. Lawell then f about with his three priority targets who where mcginn Fabian schar and Christin Pizzini. Pizzini was the priority signing for RB. He doesn't get signed then they miss mcginn and schar (cb) and Rodgers goes mental cause he's effectively been betrayed by Lawell. Has that presser before aek and slaughters him because he now knows he's knocked back China and he's not getting backed. Then we get pumped out an it's bye bye to the share issue and bonus and he then isn't getting backed at all because Lawell etc think he's gonna walk before the seasons out. So we and up with izzy and mulumbu and only got benkovich because he didn't make the LC squad. Then dembele goes and in his Lyon presser says Rodgers was a hypocrite because he tried to block his transfer but 2 months ago he was trying to get him to move to China. Rodgers down tools and Lawell looking for his replacement. DD apparently gets them both to a meeting in London mid week and effectively says to them sort this out. To Rodgers he says your in the top 10 highest paid managers in the UK start acting like it because if you don't he will make him unemployable. To Lawell he says back him in Januray to the fullest of your powers or your finished. Q the St J game and BR has a positive press conference taking full responsibility and Lawell in the crowd. He says he is 99.9% certain that Rodgers will be gone before the end of the season if anyome comes in for him and the board have lined up moyes to replace him. Moyes spotted at Celtics last 2 games. He says he's found this out mainly through agents and is 100% sure the players know what's going on so many of them have downed tools because they feel that Rodgers is working his ticket and will abandon ship at the first opportunity.”

 

He could be on his way then.
Is what I would have thought if this had come out before he had gone.

The thing i cant get my head round is he says he did not watch the hearts game which i find a bit odd being a "fan" and what he acheived with the club, what he was about to acheive and it being our first game since he left, i thought surely he would have watched that game just to see how we got on without him, bit odd no
