They have always looked close imo you can see that on trophy days etc the boss has seen them out in Edinburgh having dinner a few times also.

Certainly dont think hes a hero, hes made a helluva lot of mistakes ... but hes still here, keeping our club financially secure while we dominate domestically and hasnt bailed out the door at the first sign of someone else sniffing about ... so imo he deserves more praise & a certain level of respect than the rat who scurried out on monday nite.

I feel the club were doing their best to match his ambition to try to hold on to him ,kept most of the players we wanted to ,broke our transfer record as well ,wage bill near doubled , so these were all indications that we were trying , there where many bad purchases who struggled to break into the team ,So they have been pretty fair and supportive to a degree ,do I feel pl is holding us back ,no , I feel he knows our limit monetarily as a club and will not put that at risk for anything or anyone ,as that would be out with his job description and make him a failure

I bet that even he is surprised by the lack of flak he’s taken over this situation.
Brendan’s cuntish behaviour has taken the heat right off lawwell.
I personally don’t think that he should come out of this with any credit.
Brendan turned out to be a snake but he was a very successful manager for us and, whatever the truth is, it’s obvious Lawwell * him off big time.

    I love those videos man.

Great to see what goes on behind closed doors. Would never have imagined Broony and Lawwell sitting having chats etc but great to see the captain does get consulted and involved during times like this.

Our YouTube channel has upped its game massively the past month or so... Reserve highlights, access all areas, Celtic tv build up to the game for free as well.

Reading Kennedy interview.... Br made a move to take the whole backroom team but lawell made his move first and secured Kennedy duff and a few others... Gotta commend lawell on that.... Imagine if that had happened ...be bedlam

Never know, for all the stick he's taken over the years maybe he's the main man. Just needs to grab the microphone at the next opportunity and 'sing up the raaa'. Legend material.

Lawwel is still a * let’s not forget that just cause Rodgers is the bigger rat at the moment.

He is at the helm of the ship and has * over countless managers he is being forgotten about at this time but he also has a lot to answer for regarding Rodgers going.

    Things behind the scenes.

Lawwel better get it right in the summer.

We can blame lawwell for a helluva lot still imo but one thing we can't is for the utter crap that spewed out of that charlatan's trap. I'm well over it and it's a case of good riddance. I was angrier when Lenny left the first time.

Aye but lenny had reason. He done great things and was rewarded by saying the budgets getting cut yet is still expected to get to the champions league etc. Lawel was a * for letting that happen. He shat it with the huns death. *.

Yup...precisely my point mate. We KNEW Lenny had the interests of the club at heart. Arguably this was used against him in the end!! Lawwell is nobody's * mug and hasn't stayed in that position through luck. When this came out he would have just fed the charlatan the rope and let him hang himself.

I really hope Lenny gets it because lawwell knows we're watching that relationship right from the off.

Not really. Lenny could have brought in Gary Parker and big Mjallby who would be better than Kennedy and Duff anyway imo.

Mjallby is managing in Sweden he wouldn’t come back for a coaching role

He couldnt come back at short notice but I’m not convinced he couldn’t be tempted back if Lenny gets the job on a permanent basis.

Whether Lawell wants to keep Lenny will frankly be already decided.

Bar a complete and disastrous collapse, IF lawell wants lenny at the helm they will already have discussed it. This would be best for everyone imo as Lenny will straight up tell lawell to get the finger out and gi find defenders.

If lawell doesnt want lennon, then not only are we looking at a disaster this summer but a complete collapse. By the time that stingy * finds a manager it will be too late to find players. Which means lustig and others will be offered new contracts and we go into the qualifiers with * hendry.

We'll see if and how desmond plans to secure 10 in a row. Or merely watch us die from a thousand cuts.

In my eyes Kennedy is a master stroke because he has worked with the current players the most and the current system also worked with lenny and Strachan

Definitely agree with you on Lennon staying in charge. It’s a stick on unless, like you said, we collapse. Which we won’t!

I also think we will splash some cash in the summer, even if it’s purely Lawwell being a big kid and saying up yours to Rodgers. That could just be wishful thinking though

I love the most recent talk of 'we are so lucky to have him and he even rejected moves down south', last time I checked wasn't he in the top 3 best paid football executive jobs in the UK? So why would he move to a different country to get paid the same or a little bit more and risk his reputation and his heated driveways?

Agree with bhoy81, this summer is massive for the club and hopefully more quality over quantity rather than a 60m wage bill that couldn't beat Aek Athens- is Congerton still at the club? * help us if he is
