Guys doing a great job no matter how frustrated we get at him. Seeing him celebrate like that last night was great I thought.

Hate the guys penny pinching and lack of ambition at times but he keeps the club steady and successful, no doubt hes had offers to leave and stuck it with us (although he is paid handsomely).

Rodgers walked , Deila was crap and Lennon needed a break, everyone has a shelf life and you try something new.

Could you please tell me what your expectations are of Lawwell? How much do you want him to give a manager to spend? How much further in Europe do people actually expect us to get?

I honestly think Rodgers would have left anyway unless we gave him huge sums of money. While we could have given more he would have wanted far more. Ronnie wasn't the guy for the job, simple as, even if we doubled his spending. I would say it was semi true for Lenny but he would have left soon after he did anyway as fitba in Scotland was taking its toll on him.

You are totally right as Celtic was a steppingstone for Rodgers and he was never going to be here for 10 IAR . You can go back to the blessedMartin and Strachan . The board are happy we are a big fish in a tiny pond in Scotland but in Europe we make up the numbers unfortunately.

Regularly getting to the knockout stages of European competitions would be nice .

Rodgers wanted to speak to them eff all to do with Lawwell. His choice.
He was wanting even more money he wasn't getting .
Lawwell has probably looked at his signings and said haud on a minute...

He has the club in great financial shape but could loosen the purse strings a tad to get the club to a stage where we are expecting to get out of the Champions league stage each time, that would be both beneficial to the fans and for the books.

And how much you willing to spend to achieve this? Because I think it would take millions and I for one don’t want to see us go the same way as the zombies. I feel one bad campaign after spending millions could be disastrous. And to be fair in the last 7 seasons we have qualified for the knockout stages 4 times.

    • Protect the club from corruption and cheating. Ensure those that have * us over in the past and present are held accountable for it

    • Find the best manager for the job within budget. Back him to the hilt, both financially and personally, to help him carry out his duties. If you deem him no longer trustworthy enough to back in the transfer market then look for another manager, don't take matters into your hands as if you're playing Champ Manager.

    • Remember the roots and ethos of the club. Pay people a reasonable wage for their services as an employee of Celtic. Don't take advantage of the working class for PLC or shareholder benefit.

    • Don't take for granted the positives brought along by the Green Brigade, while throwing them under the bus at the first opportunity. Stop collective punishment for individual misbehaviour.

    • Don't be duplicitous and try say the club has nothing to do with Irish Republicanism, then exploit that link for financial gain eg. Tricolours on merch, playing songs on the tannoy with reference to it. Acknowledge that while you may not have a personal affinity with it; the club irrefutably does and it's nothing to be ashamed of, if it is not done in an overtly offensive manner.

Rodgers had a clause in his contract did he not? Where he could leave if the right offer came in. As it was PL did win out because the compensation covered Rodgers money for the last few years.
