With everything that happened yesterday understandably things have nnot progressed with this as fast as anticipated. But hopefully the final 2 votes can be done today, and will reveal the results after tonight's game.

@Officer Doofy has until 10pm. That give a little extra time after the end of the match to get vote in

 

No sign of @Officer Doofy and it has been more than enough time to get his votes in. So we are moving on, with the 9 votes that did send in. Just to confirm, Tim did send his in yesterday and I had recorded the votes, but didnt mark down his name for some reason. Anyhow, that is all sorted and we are moving on.

Animals 4 - 5 Kinks

The Animals jumped out to an early 3-1 lead, but the Kinks fought their way back, meaning it was all level with the last vote remaining, and the Kinks getting across the line.

Congratulations to @obafgkmlt moving on to the Final 4.

Commiserations and so close to @WINTER TIME , meaning that both of those that fought their way back in were not able to claim the redemption that they sought.

Once again it was the comeback tale after Queen had jumped out to a strong 3-1 lead, only for B T O to claw their way back into contention and then at the final vote clinch progress.

Congrats to @Scotia pressing forward his claims at the SQ title.

Commiserations to @Big els who justifiably thought he had a very strong chance of progressing but was not to be.

David Bowie 5 - 4 Black Sabbath

David Bowie grabbed the early initiative and despite a late surge from Black Sabbath was able to clinch the final berth in the last four with 1 vote remaining.

Unlucky @cidermaster put up a strong showing but wasn't quite enough.
