Get's a lot of stick and I can see why a bit because we don't know exactly what he does..

Deserves respect though for telling Rodgers to bolt..

Must be doing something right because he's reportedly very highly rated and they wanted him down there with them..

By all accounts turning into a very good coach, you’d quite often see Rodgers in discussion with him as opposed to Davies.

So much respect for the guy telling the snake to * off when he tried to dismantle the entire back room team a day before the game.

Same goes for Stevie Wooda and Tim Williamson.

Have to agree, the defensive frailties we see and he being the defensive coach kinda made me hate on him a bit but the rat set the tactics and picked the players and there's only so much a coach can do.

Good on JK and the coaches who stayed SW & TW...true celts and clearly stayed for the sake of the club.

Davies and Toure got a free pass for that usually when they were more experienced and also defender's. Davies as a coach/right hand man and Kolo with his wealth of experience at a high level..

I'm no even sure he was solely coaching the defensive side but could be wrong..

Either way, I won't be as quick to slag him. Same goes for Williamson and Stevie Woods as mentioned. The latter I've rated for year's anyway..

Think Davies was very good in his first season here, last season and this season he’s seemed far less influential. I actually thought Davies might have ended up in charge here when Rodgers left after the 10, how wrong could I have been.

He's not the defensive coach that position doesn't exist, he worked with all the players and its clear he's a lot more loyal to celtic than some other * so don't see why he gets stick.

He seemed much more active on the sidelines in the first season especially, agreed..

Quick freekicks. Telling them whether to hit it or no or a quick corner or that..

Definitely more reserved after that sitting on the bench whenever the camera was on them. Rodgers as well. We were flexible as * and would change formation multiple time's in play and were a nightmare for side's..

    It all fell off..

Couple examples I can think of was the Armstrong free kick at Inverness and the Scottish cup final after rogic scored while everyone was going mental he was straight in Rodgers ear making sure he got sviatchenko on to steady the ship if you like.

Haven’t seen any of that sort of things in the past 18 months or so.

IMO they weren’t happy at not being considered for the arsenal gig, then the poor summer window came and the toys were well and truly put the pram.

Good riddance to all 3 of the snake *. Enjoy unemployment next Christmas ya *.

They began to coast it waiting on their next job...

After Arsenal didn’t offer Rodgers the job he got caught out big style in the summer with the recruitment. They didn’t expect to be here so didn’t plan anything.

Aye mate the Armstrong feekick up at Inverness was the very first that came to mind..

Great shout cup final as well..

It definitely went stale though and that sounds mental as we won another treble and are still on course for a third..

Will be loadsa rumours going about but I think it's clear as day he/they wanted off ages ago..

That's how it felt. Even in to this season it really felt like we wouldn't come out of that and Desmond had to step in calling meetings..

I wonder if any player's will come out saying that in the coming week's that things fell off and wasn't the same intensity or meticulous planning..

Congerton showing up at Lennoxtown on the last day of the summer window to show face was when I realised they were taking the *.

Hadn’t been seen for yonks then decided to turn up when Rodgers was being called out on us not even scouting never mind having no replacements lined up for Moussa or Boyata.

JK: "I've had a very good time here at #CelticFC and have worked my way up to this point. Neil asked me to be his assistant, and I'm delighted to do that

JK: "Brendan has made a decision. For me, I have a job to do. Speaking to the players yesterday at training, we're fully focused on the here and now, and the full focus is on the game tonight."

JK: "The players know what we expect from them, and they know what the supporters expect."

JK: "There is a lot of stability here behind the scenes... Neil has come into this at a good time. In terms of planning, it doesn't stop. The bigger picture is that it's about the club, the club work in a certain manner, and Neil will put his own style on that."

JK on injuries: "Callum McGregor has a calf issue, he'll miss a game or two.
    @ryanchristie2
has an hamstring injury. He'll be out for a week or two, at least."

I think the board have had that in mind since bringing him in as a coach back in 2009. A few years as Assistant to Lennon, then take over after the 10 in a slightly less pressure-filled environment is probably a possible long-term plan.
