1) The timing couldn’t be worse with the fixtures ahead of us. Would have understood his leaving this summer, but leaving now is just disrespectful to the support, the squad, and the club’s image as a whole.

2) In a time where player loyalty in football is more challenging than ever, especially for a club like us without significant resources, what message does this send to our squad and potential recruits, especially after all the nonsense this summer and fall?! This will be felt for months and years to come...

3) I’m not concerned with the Bhoys who’ve been here a while being shaken up (Broony, CalMac, JF, Rogic, Lustig, etc.), but I am *VERY* concerned about the newer bhoys who seemed to come to Celtic because of BR and Kolo (who’d be departing with BR). This will most certainly affect their game and desire to put in a good shift for us.

4) Tomorrow’s match against Hearts just became the most important game of the season - it will set the tone for how we respond to such shocking news. The next most important game is away to Hibs for the Cup challenge. What seemed to be a fairly confident win in front of us is now in serious doubt with this shake-up.

5) This surely signals that there needs to be changes at the board level. Not sure if and how this could happen as they seem fairly secure in their positions. How do we clean house without hurting the club in the process?! Depressing, to say the least.

6) I love Lenny and rate Clarke, but going for either long term feels like a step back. I seriously question, given what I perceive the current board’s level of ambition is, that we’ll get a manager in of equal quality to BR.

7) Can’t help but think that this isn’t just about issues with the board, but also very much the refereeing and the way that the SFA conducts its business. In a way, the obvious bias against our club has also taken its toll and is likely a part of his decision. Feels like it's all a part of Operation Stop 10 In A Row…

8) I fully understand the desire to seek new challenges, and BR seems to want that on a personal level, but he still had plenty of them here at Celtic (triple treble, better progress in CL/Europa, 10IAR, etc.). That said, I honestly don’t understand the allure of Leicester. With the disposal rate of managers in the EPL, why would he make this move, especially for a club that may be sinking further below mid-table? It’s incredibly arrogant to assume he wouldn’t be under the axe after a few losses. Strange choice because I don’t think he’d ever get that treatment here.
