    He could have been remembered for the Treble Treble at least if not 10...and IF for any reason we slip up in the cup I am sure he still will be remembered for it but for all the wrong reasons. His timing is a disgrace.

    How could Edouard be a replacement for Dembele when they played beside each other on a number of occasions last year and at the beginning of this season?

    The fact that you didn't think Armstrong needed replaced is immaterial. The facts are that Rodgers did, we had £39 million in the bank and failed accede to a reasonable request from our Double Treble winning manager. He was also on record saying he wanted a replacement for Roberts and was given Arzani on loan, despite seemingly having nothing to do with the transfer. If that doesn't set the alarm bells then I don't know what will.

    As I have said before for me it’s the timing and the manner he has left.

    Once the league was mathematically done he could have came out and said I am leaving.

    Then people go aye well 8 possibly 9 trophies 2 last 32 EL and 2 UCL groups brilliant but now * * - I am still in absolute shock

    Don’t write off Lennon as a long term replacement. His time here was very successful. We’ll need to unearth a few gems this summer, because the squad will be vastly depleted.

    If you want a large silver lining to all this - Congerton will be picking his bags up now.
