Well they allowed him to break our transfer record by £3m for Eddy, that was a fairly big deviation from the policy. But generally it was more hope from the fans than anything that we were going to splash funny money when Rodgers came in, nobody from the club including BR gave any indication that was the case.

 

Totally agree, but I also believe we deserve a lot better from the board who’s overpowering motivation is to squeeze as much profit out of the team whilst reinvesting as little as possible to the detriment of the performance of the team.
