Learned I should go to a barbers rather than try and cut my own hair.

Shaved all my hair off earlier, kinda by accident. The clip was set at no7, but somehow dislodged and took a chunk of hair out at no1. Looked ridiculous so had to take the plunge and go for a no1 all over.

Feels weird as * and I look like a monk. Bird says I look like a grape.

I learned today that by believing an MP to be utterly inept, devoid of loyalty, not true to their supposed roots and just believing that they are arseholes and I want them deselected it makes me antisemetic!

    There you go.

That Finnish soldiers in the Winter War with Russia had so little food or supplies for months on end they resorted to eating dead Russian soldiers.
    Zoiks.

Yes it was based on a true story, the actual crash bit in the film had me terrified probably because I don't do aeroplanes, or anything that involves heights :)

Learned this on Saturday no today.

So I watched The EFL On Quest on Saturday night and after it "Al Murray's Great British Pub Quiz" was on. ( Which was pretty much exactly as you would imagine it would be. I only managed to watch 5 mins). During that time Barry off of Eastenders did explain why £500 is referred to as a monkey.

Apparently when Brit soldiers came back from India they had been paid over there and brought the money back and on the 500 rupee note there was a picture of a monkey and from there it became commonly used.

I don't know if there are alternative theories.
