Played well tonight. We've had a couple of good games this year in Europe but can't seem to string two together. Hail hail!

 

Midfield were hopeless apart from Brown, came onto a great game. Everyone at the back were terrific although Hayesy poor for goal.

 

We should play 3 at the back more often .
Good team performance but letdown by the officials again .

 

Bollocks,their manager was raging first half trying to get them up the park,we played superb on our own merits and tactics and if we had played th he full 90 with 11 men we wouldve scored at least 2.

That performance tonight was excellent, we were dominating the game until Toljan got sent off.

Ajer, Hayes, Brown, Jozo, Boyata, McGregor & Christie were brilliant - they fought all night long.

If we had our full team, Tierney, Benko, Rogic, Ntcham, we’d have won that game and potentially the tie!!

 

Couldnt be prouder .. what a * effort by everyone .... no way we would lost that with 11 on the field....

 

Went into this with no expectations.

I just wanted to see the team put in a good performance and we definitely got that tonight.

Credit to Brendan for switching it up, the tactics were spot on.

The lads gave their all, left it all on the park, and if we hadn’t had a man sent off then I feel we would have won that game.

Now we concentrate on the Treble

 

Restored a bit of pride after last week. Team and fans were brilliant. Shame about the red but even then we could've nicked something had Ajer managed to keep that header down.

Happy enough with that.

 

Bain, Ajer, McGregor, Christie, Brown and Forrest were all exceptional.

Hayes was admirable and Boyata, Jozo and Burke played well. Burke really needs to sharpen up his close control.

 

Bain is our no.1 we dont need a goalie in the summer.

 

much better than last week, in which after 15min i think we just bottled it/ froze maybe the occasion got to us or something

tonight every man stood up and put in a shift, maybe could have got a result if not for the sending off

truth is after that bain made some big saves so valencia could have put 3 or 4 by us

but really proud the guys never showed that inferiority complex tonight they show in europe at times

hayes is our 2nd choice left back izzy is done good servant that he is and brown was magnificent tonight, when all the players show up brown is like a rolls royce and got so much better the longer the game went on

mcgregor and christie ajer and simunovic, burke ran hard, our stand out man forrest was unusually one of the quiet ones tonight

 

Very proud of that performance. Our ball retention was superb at times 2 yellows on Toljan were harsh in my opinion, total game-changer.

They can hold their heads high, come home and keep the momentum going towards the Treble Treble.

Christie was arguably our worst player and Hayes our best.

 

Can’t fault any of the boys. Toljan included.

Much better. Just let down by the home tie.
