The issue he has is his fee is vastly over inflated purely because of Leipzig. That meant WBA had to pay over the odds and they aren’t going to settle for a third of it back.

Unfortunately for Burke, 5 million is at the high end of what he’d be worth to Celtic. He has lots good about him but also lots to learn as well.

His transfer fee is inflated because of the market he was bought and transferred from, I think we could get him for 5/6 mill if we pushed the boat out. Player has stated he wants to stay, that’s a signal of intent and a reason for west brom to sell.

If you think we can get him for 5 or 6 million then I have nothing more to add.

I know he’s worth more but what I meant was if we were to put in a bid I don’t think we’d offer more than 6 million if that makes sense. I think West Brom would at least consider if all parties wanted it.

We are not getting him for £6 million, that’s if Lawwell ever found himself allowing it in the first place.

Forget a permanent. It's a waste of energy.

Needs to work on his touch and decision making.

Couple of times he should’ve cut it back but shot from stupid angles.

Yeah agree, but the good far outweighs the bad, i like the way he imposes himself and uses his physical presence.

So far so good, looks like he's really enjoying himself.

Great game again I thought, Edouard will actually struggle to get back in. He's more powerful on the ball and dominated defenders better than Edouard even though Edouard is more slick and skillful but Burke's way of playing is working so far.

Eddy applies himself then he’s still our number 1 striker. Levels above Oli Burke. He has the technique and finishing ability already to go with the raw pace and power.

I think they'd make an interesting partnership. Hopefully we get to see it at some point.

Thought he was * before he signed but he’s actually pretty good. Can be a bit clumsy but he’s a handful and links the play well.

If he keeps showing improvement between now and the end of the season then I think we would be willing to pay a bit more than that.

Can still see he has a lot to work on, but even at that he’s only 21 and has looked dangerous as * and is chipping in with goals and assists. Not sure we’d be quite willing to pay what WBA would want but if it was around 10 million then I would say why not.
