    I wasn't suggesting that, mate. That would be mental. Your comment about "greats" came across as a sarcastic reference to them (implying they were awful players). If I misunderstood, I apologise.

    Who said it makes you immune to criticism? My point was that they don't deserve snide comments about them. Anyway, it seems I may have misinterpreted DTB's post; but given the number of snide comments I've read on here about Efe and Lustig in particular, I think it's understandable I read it that way.

    I'm happy enough that they bolstered the attack with Weah, Bayo and Burke. That's fine.

    What is totally inexcusable in my opinion is that they haven't signed a CB or RB (yet), our positions of greatest need, when they've known for a long time that players were required. Benkovic is now out which just makes it even worse.

    I'm dreading the summer. Better get our business done quickly then or there's not a chance we'll see CL football.

    We only have 3 defenders that could handle the Valencia strikers - Botata, Benkovic and Tierney. Any injuries to these 3 and we are in trouble and of course we need a RB. Our lack of strength in depth defensively costs us every time in Europe and it will be the same old same old unless something happens in the next few hours. We need a RB and quality back up for Boyata and Benkovic, its so glaringly obvious that its infuriating watching nothing being done on this front once again.
