Still think McGregor is the most reliable. Even going back to his first game against Legia, against Ajax...

He just has an amazing ability to stand up in big moments and take his chance. Unfortunately the only time I can remember him not doing so (BMG) he got * slaughtered.

The player who missed against BMG was a shadow compared to the player he is now.

Nah, he has got far better but people still hadn’t clocked on to exactly what he does for us and how good he is. He’s been excellent since Deila’s last few months.

We didnt give him the ball enough first half. Hes always looking for it , always in a position to take it and we should always give him it.

He’s great to watch. The pockets of space he picks up and his close control are outstanding, elite level.

His technical ability is just so good, he makes it look easy to take the ball in on one touch, shift and pass seamlessly, never mind his close control to dribble past players and consistently score.

Still hope when Rogic is back he’s back in the holding role.

He can superbly dictate the tempo of a game, once the rest of the team are shifting the opposition around with runs he can really capitalise with how well he passed the ball but not just that, it’s how he receives a pass.

Watch him closely, his positional awareness is so good he’ll take a ball in a crowded area, touch the ball in a safe direction and zip it back out in the blink of an eye. Sublime midfielder!

Some players won’t risk passes to certain players in certain positions but they’ll play a risky past to Cal anywhere because he’s so aware, composed and has the ability to handle the pressure.

I can’t think of many more technical Scottish players than this lad. Massive fan and we’re blessed to have him.

Boy I take to work just did not like him for the longest time, thought he didn’t have what it took to be good enough for Celtic. I kept telling him, this boys got the lot in his locker, will just take time.

Ajer is the next for a meteoric rise, I’d say Christie but for me he’s a stick on, too clear to see!

Been watching a few YouTube vids of him this morning and it isn't until now that I've realised he is very Messi-esque in his style.

Polar opposite of what you'd expect to get from a Scottish footballer. He's a credit to our academy!

I've defo changed on him, I'll stand by that he shouldn't be played from a defensive side as he's not that type of player and sometimes I think him and Broony get in each others way at times in certain games.

He plays like a Barca player, just keeps the ball moving.

That QB type role he had was brilliant, but think Broony has been good since coming back. Just wonder what'll happen when Oz comes back.

I only caught the last half hour tonight; but if this guy doesn't win the SPL player of the year by a million miles, it will be scandalous. Best player in the league by a distance.
