Wonder if he’ll start today. Think he’s far more talented than Burke but don’t think Burke derserved to be dropped.

Think Forrest could do with a game out maybe one of them out on right and one up top with Sinclair on the left.

EACH game from now until the end of the season will be an entirely new experience for Timothy Weah who, until now, has only ever played in the United States and France. Football, just like cultures, differs from country-to-country, and understanding the style played in any given country is akin to adjusting to new country.

“It’s a bit more physical here and at training we go all-in,” said Weah in an exclusive interview with the official match programme. “The style of play is really fast and really physical. That’s the difference I’ve noticed is the physicality.

“It’ll help me in my career because I know, whatever league I play in, I don’t think it’ll be as physically tough as the Scottish league. As an 18-year-old it’s good to get that experience and get used to dealing with that feeling of guys challenging you hard and learning how to handle that and play with that challenge.”

Scoring on his debut helped establish Weah with Celtic fans and strengthened his ties to the club from the off. The rapport with his team-mates will be fundamental to his success in the Hoops, though, and Weah admitted that has been equally as promising as his debut.

“I’m settling in really well,” he said. “Everyone has made me feel really comfortable. This team is more of a family than individuals. It was easy for me to come in and get well-acquainted with the boys.

“Having some French friends here too has been great. I played with Odsonne at Paris Saint-Germain, so I already knew him and being fluent in French has made it easy to get to know the other French boys. There are really no egos in the dressing room. Everyone’s competitive and it’s a good vibe, so we all get on.

“I saw right away just how important a captain Scott Brown is. He’s amazing on the field but what a lot of people probably don’t see is how important he is for the dressing room. He’s crazy, he makes everyone laugh and really brings us all together.

“Off the field he’s a fun guy but on the field he’s serious and a great captain. He leads the team the right way and we look up to him because he’s played so many games for Celtic.

“He’s played over 500 games so he’s really experienced and, for us young guys coming on to the field, we have a person to look up to and know that he’ll lead us in the right directio

Tried hard to day but was a bit starved of service and was unlucky with the chance he made for himself

Should've scored and didn't really happen for him today..

He was definitely starved of service at time's though. We were a bit predictable and slow through the middle until Burke came on and we seemed to be more direct with our ball's, or certainly quicker with him and Forrest up..

Weah’s 2 goals so far have come from runs in behind off the shoulder of defenders but he didn’t get any service today. Probably the wrong game to start him as Hamilton just set out to defend. Although I do think Weah is more of a winger than striker.

Lol! I hear ya, but Weah’s radio interviews were particularly over-the-top, imo — even by North American standards. Still, as embarrassingly grovelling as said radio interviews were, I hope the kid does well on the pitch (which, by the looks of it, he will).
