Exactly, for the money Rodgers is on you think he would have the commons sense to tell him what's best for him.

Was still playing Broony and admitted so publicly, through injury as well..

Saying that a number of our players have been overplayed is the truth though and the back room team should have seen this coming considering everyone else did.

This wasn't though, and it was obvious something like this was going to happen. Are the backroom staff just absolved of blame? I don't understand the point you are making.

Rodgers was given stick for not playing Édouard and Tierney against the Huns, now people are giving him stick for supposedly playing Tierney through injury.

    Can’t win.

He's gotten injured because he was over played. Who has gave him stick for not playing Tierney and edouard when they are injured? I said leaving edouard out was daft until I found out he was injured, probably the case with most people.

How do you know his injury is due to being over played?

Again, if Tierney doesn’t play any games and we replace him with Izzy, Hayes or whoever and we play poorly and lose - Rodgers is vilified for rotating and not playing his best players.

He can’t win with our support.

The point I was making was that most of the stuff posted on here and twitter is pish so including that doesn't back up your point at all. I thought it was a strange thing to say as it adds nothing to your argument. No the backroom staff are not absolved from blame that is irrespective of what * were putting on twitter though.

Why were they in the squad?

They were either fit, in which case he should have played them, or they were unfit, in which case he should have rested them.

    That argument is coherent.

Because he runs his * off for 90 mins every game and had 50+ of them last year. Mixed with a manager who has admitted he played Brown through injury, I don't think it's that hard to speculate why he's injured.

Perhaps he should have recruited better.

The point I was making was anyone with a pair of eyes could see players like Tierney were playing far, far too much. And considering the amount of money our manager and backroom staff are on they should have seen it coming from a mile off.

I'm not suggesting they should be taking advice from people on social media, if that's what you are getting at.

Maybe we shouldn't have signed a winger from Aberdeen, or a lb who was past it when he left us two years ago.

So you just think this is a random injury that isn't related to him playing too much.

Well Tierney was rested and there was obviously never any intention of playing him. Maybe he just wanted to have him in the dressing room, I don’t know.

Édouard was apparently only fit enough to play 30 mins or whatever it was, something that confused me at the time but the fact he hasn’t played since would probably suggest it was all he was able for.

I don’t think there’s anything random about a full time professional footballer getting injured mate :56:
