Big loudmouth Sutton will be sitting munching on humble pie as we speak.

Record release his article about Brendan hanging him out to dry. An hour later he’s scored 2 goals up front.

    Numpty.

His link up play was fantastic at times last night. Think he would be better on the wing but would like to see him as a 10 or as part of a front two with someone on the same level.

Need to stop picking up the record in work and reading the hotline. Some amount of * you see in there.

My comment will hold more water now considering he’s scored 2 goals.

He will never be a striker. In the same way James Forrest and Scott Sinclair will never be a striker.

And a sclaffed heider thrown into the net and a 3 times rebounded finish won’t change that a jot.

It's just where I was last time in the thread and your comment was there.. he looked more like striker last night. Started in 4th that position too, I think at Forrest.. promising early signs..

He can play there, so can Forrest and Sinclair and Roberts before them. None of the 4 are strikers however and ever will be.

Tim Weah on the other hand, every inch the movement and finishing of a striker.

    Do you think differently?

I think he has more about him than Forrest or Sinclair in that position.. he’s a presence, works hard, presses well, scored two strikers goals and the biggest thing for me was his touch and awareness around the box.. it was excellent..

So aye, it was St.Mirren but there were promising early signs in that position last night..

In terms of Weah, it’s obvious he’s a natural in that position.. and it’s exciting to see him in a Celtic jersey..

The biggest criticism in his career is that he's lazy and doesn't work hard..

It was actually quite a shock watching him running the * off his self and his touch and link up play was also pretty surprising..

I know he's rapid as * and can go by people with ease, especially in to space, finishing....but he showed he has a lot more to his game last night.....against pish opposition granted..

He'll probably end up playing as a 9 for Scotland at some point..

Sinclair scores ‘strikers goals’ on a weekly basis. Plus he has better touch and awareness.

We’ll come back to this in 6 months when Burke as a striker is a distant memory!
