I'm rather busy today, so anything I'm about to say here is off memory (therefore if anything is untrue, then please feel free to correct me )

You have a bee in your bunnet about me questioning your discard - i did indeed question you, but you weren't the only one (4 or 5 I'm sure), so why you feel i'm singling you out, I do not know.

When I posted, I could NOT remember what the unlynchable townie role was, hence why (I think I did?) ask in the opening page(s) for confirmation.

You also seem to have taken it personally about me "discrediting" your statement that you were town - well, that is a false statement. I made reference to you stating something along the lines of you "always picking town if offered" - now, I amde a somewhat flippant (even if semi-serious) comment that you have been a very deceitful player when scum (a compliment I suppose) and made a factual statement about ME not remembering the last time you were scum. That is a FACT TT, so if you're taking um bridge to me not having every single time you've been town/scum down on paper to refer to, then my sincerest apologies. I'm sure you've been town the last few games, but then again I may be wrong - only you could tell me so.

And another point to add to that last paragraph - I seem to recall dazza pretty much agreeing with me (even laughing at the notion that YOU always pick town), so why aren't you even mentioning him trying to - in your word - "discredit" you?

I say this to you and anyone else who doubts me - ok. I feel as if I've given a good account of myself and at least tried to debate sensibly (most of the time ) whilst trying to put forward ideas as to who may be scum/why.

 

The only thing about Eddie's discard I don't like is the prospecter was one of his kills yet in the films he wants to go to Japan so it doesn't make sense

Possibly I mean it is possible keano has used the prospecter to make the role more balanced but it doesn't make sense from a film standpoint

I suppose, that’s all the characters in the round up gang.. Stinky Pete is bad but as a lone role you have to kill Town and Scum..

At least you are saying 'likely' now and have dropped the definitely with what Bod said regarding Marie.

Yes they are clear and transparent in looking for a consensus yet you are, or it looks kinda like it to me, subtly providing the likely nominations for lynch as well.

I have never thought anyone looking to nominate a potential scum as pointless. I supplied my reason for voting Slippy and it had/has far more to it than your initial reason for voting going after Bob, although you are on Eddie now. I have also said I would vote for any of them however if it feels like you are trying to manipulate it I wont.


Here is an example of what I mean -

Initially you ask for Mintys thoughts then you go on to say you are not convinced, then point out the discard and being quiet then say he could have a big town role but finish by saying he is usually more active.

It's basically covering all your bases.

As I said my discard is pretty obviously a role that disadvantages Town - I believe we all agree on that and it seemed strange you queried it as I credit you with a good understanding of the main roles used in these games.

No, I haven't taken it personally. Yes Dazza also seemed to enjoy the attempt however he hadn't already queried my discard, he did point out it was a disadvantage to town from memory tbf on him, and he isn't one of the names on the list of Alien discards who all can't have been offered Town roles also - You are though. So that's why I haven't mentioned Dazza here.

Yes you keep saying you are being sensible/debate/put forward ideas although I don't think anyone has said you're not but you keep repeating this similar line.

Yeah that's where my doubt is coming from maybe keano thought it was too easy to only kill 3 but in theory in a game like this prospecter would be on Als team as it were

 

Tim I’m not sure on Ed.. but no lynch two days in a row would be irresponsible Town play.. I was responding to the question that @AgentKevinITK posed.. and as @Minty had started the wagon I @ him for him to provide more information and then simply summarised the rationale..

Without labouring the point.. Bob didn’t say ‘likely’.. you’ll have to re-read that..
