Nah. It’s not a black and white conversation.

My main point came from someone saying 6 days into January that we aren’t signing a centre back, which is rubbish.

At the end of January I’ll judge the window.

That doesn’t mean I have faith in the board and I definitely don’t have faith in that waste of a wage Congerton.

 

Like I said, we do this most windows.

One marquee signing to play along with Ajer when Boyata and Benkovic leave is needed.

I don’t think that’ll come till the summer, I’m not kidding myself on, I’m just willing to wait until the end of the window to judge it.

Yup, so we signed two and went into last summer also needing a centre back.

We needed in the summer prior to that. This is the 4th window we’re going into where it’s been a priority.

Wait till the end of the window, aye fine, but right now all signs point towards us being disappointed when that time comes.

 

What happens if we get a good offer for Boyata on the last day, you happy with what we would have left? I can't see Boyata staying after the window if we get a good offer, could be another Dembele.

I wouldn’t go that far but we’re letting our standards drop massively. The types of deals we’ve been persuing also makes me think either Rodgers is definitely leaving in the summer or we’ve gave up on the idea of the Champions League altogether.
