Yeah think your right, we are also rightly looking at good young Scots players, guess the time might be coming when even decent young foreign talent is out of our reach financially or they just don’t want to play in Scotland

But the wage bill is enormous it’s a problem for sure

Can’t see the big football bubble bursting anytime soon and we being in a small nation are getter no mullered, id jump at a Euro 2 league at the moment

Is that much of a good thing? The Scotland national side is in a terrible state, hasn't exactly been overflowing with talent in a long, long time. We already have the best ones realistically available, anyway.

Depending on the club, it's highly suggestive, though. I mean, it's a totally legitimate question: if he's good enough for us in the short term, why isn't he getting a game at arun of the mill Championship club?

Not overly impressed by the signing he has potential to be a good player but not sure it will be for us up to him to prove everyone wrong and be a star for us

Can't see us spending significantly on a player until we clear half a dozen off the wage bill. Hopefully we can do that asap. I think a Euro 2 league is a long way off unfortunately. We'll need to try and operate under the constraints we have but that relies on an astute scouting & transfer policy which has been on the slide for a while now or certainly since Congerton came in. Removing him and bringing someone else in should be a priority.

Yass! Signing number 1. A £15million player on loan. Can't be that bad.

Could be a number if reasons but it’s probably because the Albion manager thinks he currently has better options.

They’re one of the best sides in the Championship currently, and they have a decent shout at promotion. He’s still a young player so has some improving to do. Breaking into their side isn’t as easy as some folk would have you believe. But he was good enough to feature regularly for Leipzig and any watch of his videos shows he has the ability to play for us. He’s shown he can perform in both the championship (with N Forest) and the Bundesliga. There’s no reason to assume he won’t be able to cut it for us for the remainder of the season. He’s also not like Compper who has an injury history behind him.

Try before you buy,yes i have often thought it was the safe option to use and it does cut down the risks slightly, but these players take time to come good and as we have seen, the come good then * off method is hurting us and holding us back badly.
We seriously need to blend them with better already made players,we can't build the whole team from scratch our self as we will for ever be looking for a replacement for someone.
We are looking for a replacement just now for dembele,by the time we find someone we will then be looking for a replacement for Boyata and once we find that replacement we will be looking to find a replacement for Benkovic.
By next summer we could be in real real trouble.

I think its time we went out and spent some of our millions.

My fear is we tend to shop where the manager knows players and we seem to be looking mostly down south for players....the biggest most inflated markets in the footballing world.
