    Good stuff.

Hopefully it is Sunderland as they could maybe buy him if he plays well and they get promoted.

This is phenomenally good news if true.

If we werent buying at least two cbs in this window he wouldnt be going anywhere!

    Please please please be true.

Are they looking to resign Gordon by any chance too?

Don't be so sure about that. Wouldn't surprise me if Compper starts away against Valencia because we couldn't get the "right" players in this window. Would rather have Hendry here until we parade some new CB signings around Celtic Park.

He was never fit to wear the jersey. A waste of money. Don't hit your * on the way out.

    Another bizarre signing.
Never going to be good enough but was thrown in at the deep end and gave it his best.
Don’t mind loaning out young guys who have come through our ranks to get them experience, but loaning out a guy you only signed a year ago is a clear * failure on the managers part.

Don't understand the hostility towards him. I always thought he put effort in, he just wasn't good enough. It was fault of Rodgers and Congerton.

    I'm not even having that.

Never looked to me like he was bursting a gut, seemed to be more interested in his hair and what would look good for a photo on Instagram.

Will never forget him laughing and joking with 'wee Naisy' at Tynecastle after he had hacked and goaded half of our team.

Never had the ability or mentality to play for us.

Don’t forget he’s still very young, especially as a CH,maybe wasn’t and maybe will never make it with us but he was most definitely thrown in at the deep end..Hopefully a move elsewhere will give him his confidence back and improvement in his game

I doubt he will make it with us. His style may suit another club better. I wish him the best at Sunderland league 1 is probably a level he can succeed in. His freedom of wages gives us some money to pay others.

His biggest problem is indecision when he gets the ball he looks and looks for someone to pass to ignoring the pass that was on originally very like Boyata was when he came here

Himself and Scott Allan must have found the elixir of youth. He is coming up to 24 and completely out of his depth. I am amazed Sunderland want him, I'm amazed a full-time outfit want him. He isn't good enough for Dundee!

Would be good to see him go out on loan.

Can’t believe we bought him when 99% of us could tell he wasn’t good enough, baffling signing.

Rumoured to have fallen through... If nobody wants him, just pay him off.

A loan move for sure is the best thing for Hendry no doubt about it. Not what we need at center back right now. My understanding was he was signed as a prospect not someone expected to come in and play now. But with the total mess we made the summer window he ends up getting thrown in at the deep end and sadly we all saw how badly that went.
Personally I doubt he will ever make it at Celtic but get him out on loan as that is the best way for him hopefully to regain his confidence and if he is to have a chance at Celtic that is what is needed. Don't forget how far off the first team Ajer was when he went out on loan to Kilmarnock so get him out on loan and see where that takes Hendry.

Ajer was 18 years old and a highly-rated prospect, who had already captained his club and amassed more appearances than Jack Hendry had when we signed him as an inconspicuous 22-year-old centre-half from a struggling Dundee side, when he went out on loan to Kilmarnock.

Ajer was our first-choice centre-half in a treble-winning season, last season, and, at 20 years old, has a bright future ahead of him.

Hendry turned 23 years old in May last year, and he is being farmed out on loan to a League One side because he cannot even be trusted to provide cover domestically.

    They are incomparable.
