Ronnie Deila lost 4 games in each of his seasons here. We've lost 4 already this season, with 18 games to play.

Remember he got slaughtered for playing Armstrong left wing ? Imagine he played him left back.

Joking about bringing him back btw, although we could do worse than have him as a coach instead of giving the positions to ex players simply because they are ex players of ours.

 

Realistically, who would you take from the Huns? I guess you'd probably take Tavernier over Lustig; but that's the only position where they have the better player. McGregor and Gordon are much of a muchness (good shot stoppers, * with the ball at their feet). I might take Candeias (or whatever his name is) and Morelos as squad players, but certainly not for the first 11. That's about it, really. The rest of them are just standard SPL dross.

So yes, Slippy clearly outdid Brendan today and I really expected a better interview from Brendan after that TBH.

 

Morelos and McGregor would both do well for us.

 

I know that Kent is on loan but he looked dangerous today out on the left.

We can argue over McGregor (personally I think he and Gordon are about the same); but Edouard is definitely better than Morelos, albeit different kinds of player. I haven't seen anything from Morelos that makes me think he's better than Griff.

 

Edouard and Griffiths are both better players, but that doesn’t mean Morelos is bad. He’s a decent player and has qualities (hold up play) that we’re currently missing.

 

Morelos is a * * guzzler...what is it with our support and the * love in for this guy....hes * gash,as he prooved today,a big game in which we sucked absolute balls and he still did * all...he does it against the small teams ,thats it.

Id take the rapist though and put him in goals...thats it

Hence why I'd take him as a squad player. He's better than decent, I don't dispute it; but I definitely wouldn't swap any of our current players for him. Point is that literally the only swap that would improve us is Lustig for Tavernier, yet we were the ones that got well beaten.

Slippy had the poorer hand by far, but he played his hand much better than Brendan.

 

Without doubt our selection and tactics cost us today.

He was playing in the position Broony is now, I remember it clearly. Gerrard's legs were gone but to utilise his passing skills he moved him back as he couldn't keep up the pace further forward anymore. In reality he should have dropped him completely. Brendan's doing the same with Brown, but Brown can't pass the ball for *..
