Mulumbu may have put in a better shift today...but yet again he never gets a run.

Let’s not get caught up in that debate. We already knew before this game we need to strengthen our squad. I was talking about the options he had today, injuries and fatigue obviously played a part in his selection today. But in all honesty I just can’t be arsed moaning about a team I love so well. All the players that were picked today have played their part this season to put us top of the table. I’d rather look at the positives than the negatives. When we lift the 3x3 this game will be long forgotten about. Will I let it ruin my day or Christmas break, no. I’ll look to the future with a bit of hope and positivity. He may have got the line up wrong, Broony may have been *, MJ may have been too lightweight up front, McGregor may need to work on his positioning, but at the end of the day, Brendan needs to sort it all out aye. That’s what he’s there for. I’ll back him to the hilt and will do to the day he leaves. At times like this though when the chips are down it’s better back the team rather than pick faults.
Yes we lost yes we could have been better, but if any of you have doubts we’re not the best in the league and we don’t have more to give then I question where you’ve been the last 3 seasons.

    Those aren’t mutually exclusive.

Being fit enough for the bench and fit enough to start aren’t mutually exclusive.

You can be fit enough to play a shorter amount of game time yet not fit enough for a full 90 minutes.

Well play your strongest players and take them off after 55/60 mins when we have won the game.

He should have started Edouard and either Izaguirre or Hayes at LB, with McGregor in the middle, in my opinion.

I’m not. The entire concept of slowly bringing players back in from injury is based upon being introduced through smaller amounts of game time.

Agreed with Eddy. If Tierney was fit enough for bench he should be fit enough to play. However, he wasn't fit so yes I would have played hayes there, izzy was horrific on Wednesday.

Might not have necessarily been fit enough to start or they didn’t want to risk Tierney unless essential.

As soon as i saw the team I knew he completely * it. At times I wish we could get rid of him for someone that won't * about with the first 11 every game,.

Tierney is essential IMO we clearly seen that today. I know some fans might say its not worth the risk because of the game in hand, only 20 games in etc. but putting that mob in their place is important and we should take any chance we get to do that by playing our strongest team.
