Rodgers always makes the mistake of ruining the whole team because one player is injured.

Example: Huns don’t have a left back so they put Halliday there. It’s not ideal but it means the rest of their team function normally.

We don’t have a left back so we take the player that makes this team tick and put him at LB.

When teams outrun us, no matter the calibre of the opposition, we lose. That has been shown time and again and its an embarrassment. Too many guys who don't want to do the hard graft, guys that are flying when we've got teams pinned in and we're pinging passes about but when a team comes after us they disappear.

Yeah, why bring in Izzy as a backup if he’s not used what he was brought back for.

Got his tactics so wrong today. We should have started with McGregor in the middle of the park to dictate the pace of the game.

Poor interview. Would love him to say he got it wrong today but same old, same old. Just weren't sharp enough in our passing, saying we missed key players, saying we had to lose eventually...shouldn't have been today Brendan, you * it.

Should admit that he * it up today (and against Hibs a couple of weeks ago).

Needs to be questioned on what the * his tactics were today, tierney must of been struggling for fitness, but why do you play your best cdm at lb? Hayes done more than enough to start.

Why didn't edouard start? Why was johnston thrown in? Edouard looked fully fit today and johnston played no part against aberdeen, utterly stupid

Why did we go with Brown and Ntcham again? It's been shown time and time again these two do not work together

Why make changes away YET AGAIN? * moronic, save that * for home against bottom 6, stop fannying about with players and formations away.

This will be the biggest january we've had in years, we cannot afford this to be poor again, we need about 4/5 players signed. Time for rodgers to finally step up in the transfer market.

I'm not going to be too hard on Brendan. Overall he's still the man to lead us to a triple treble. Nae use throwing the baby out with the bath water here. He will get things wrong now and again but I get that it's a sore one when it's against sevco. Aside from the tactics things just went wrong for us on all counts today. Making 2 subs at half time wasn't in the plan and who knows if he hadn't had too and still had time he might have been able to pull it back. A lot of things have to be taken into account when looking at that loss. Important players nursing injuries are a large part of it.

We can’t seen to handle teams that put a press on.

This is a massive issue. The players can’t play out of a press.

Tactics wrong today looked like we set out for a draw and invited them to run over the top of us

BR: You always have to be humble enough when you win, but also honest when you lose. Rangers were better than us today and we have to accept that."

BR: "We had a few breakaways and a few chances, Callum was unfortunate, and he was arguably our best attacking player – how he served the ball, how he moved forward and was unlucky to be offside. Olivier had a chance too, and the defender makes a good block."

BR: "We defended well when we had to, but we probably weren’t as creative going forward as we’ve normally been here. That’s the way it goes sometimes."

BR: "I’ve sat here having won and having played well, but I sit here today having lost. Today hurts, it always does, and some of our players haven’t experienced that. Now we can go away, recover, press the reset button, work hard and come back better."

Can't believe he said we defended well, could've been pumped 3 or 4 nil easy. I love Rodgers but he * up today big time.

We'll win the league at a canter and we were due dropping some points against them eventually. Its the level of performance that I think is * everyone off. Outfought and bullied, 10mins in you could see how it was going to pan out. Its happened too many times before. We've got no answer for teams that put as under pressure, there is no fight back, we just crumble and he doesn't seem to be learning from it. The interview at the end! Meek & insulting to the support.

Anyone who knows my posting history knows that I rarely criticise BR. I tend to think the sun shines out of his proverbial; but that there today was mainly his fault.

If one player has a bad game, it happens.
If 3 or 4 have a bad game, you can say the players let the manager down.
If every single outfield player, including the subs has a mediocre (Calmac) or bad (everyone else) game; the blame lies with the manager.

He really should be acknowledging that he * up and taking responsibility, not spouting more of the same.

    That's not necessarily true though.

It really depends on the personnel.

Our best XI contains the midfield/forwards which beat Leipzig.

    Chrisite McGregor

    Forrest Rogic Sinclair

    Eduoard

That was steamrolling teams for ease during that spell when we were smashing teams 5 and 6 nil.

There is no doubt we're much weaker as a squad though. But we would be. We've lost Roberts, Dembele, Armstrong, and we played today without Tierney and Rogic.

Absolutely spot on. We have no plan B, made harder by playing players out of position or unfit. Big January needed.

He wanted Piccini and Mcginn and to not have Dembele sold without a replacement in the summer.

He needs the board to back him now.
