Bit of a shame/sad, not much difference.

As I said, you are the only one coming across as being offended here.

The majority so far have said club over country, accept it.

I personally don't think you have offended anyone, but don't be offended by someone supporting club over country.

Cheers for that mate. I think he's overated and shouldn't be a 1st choice pick for Scotland. However I had belief after that goal that we could beat the WORLD CHAMPIONS. If we did, I'd even have been singing his name in the pub we were in!

no, personally i don't think i have either, but from his reply i felt as if i had offended him
and as i've already said, i'm in no way offended. everyone knew the outcome of the question so there wasn't really anything to be offended by.

just becase imo if everyone could show the same level of love for club as country it would be a good thing dosn't mean i'm offended.

wee bit of confusion here i think.

I would settle for an important victory over England as in maybe knocking them out of our group for us to qualify. I hate those * on TV (BBC and ITV) so much that it would be one of the happiest days of my life to be better than them and go to a major tournament without them. The 1978 WC build up must have been incredible.

So by that logic you love Scotland more than Celtic?

BTW I have no problem with your answer.I just think its a bit presumptious to assume that folk who have put Celtic first have NO interest in their country, which your original reply suggested.

why do i owe something to my country? because i was born there? nationalism like that is stupid. i owe nothing to the country. because my family paid taxes? i fail too see whats so great about playing for 1s country besides continue down the slope of intolerance and nationalism.
