    you've got the lesser v the bigger prize here.

    Champions league or world cup or
    uefa cup or euro championships would have been a much better question imo.


    Personally find it a bit of a shame that people are so dis interested in their country.

    I already said that the euros was used as its the up and coming competition.
    I would 100% pick ireland to win the euros than celtic the uefa cup.
    Its the champions league that makes it a tough question IMO.

    I didnt struggle either mate,Celtic first every time,like the majority on here.

    And incidentally Colin,just because I picked Celtic doesnt mean I or others are disinterested in Scotland.What do you base this presumptious claim on?

    You shoulda made a poll I reckon it would be about 90% celtic.
    My family/ancestors/clans are all from Scotland but i still refuse to cheer on barry ferguson & co. Maybe im just an immature bitter *.

    His reply to you, was that you said people were disinterested in their country for choosing Celtic.

    It has been shown on here, so far, that people have a stronger feeling for their club, than their country.

    You said it was sad, so you are more offended than anyone else.

    This is a good point.:50: I was ashamed of us in the 1990 world cup where our football was shocking to watch. I hate countries like Greece who won the anti-football way. Hopefully George Burley will be more attacking athough I fear the press won't give him the time Smith got allowing for defeats against Belarus and Ukraine where we should have been more attacking.

    i said "personally i find it a bit of a shame"
    his reply to my post seem'd to me as if he was offended by what i wrote.
    hence the reason i asked HIM if what i wrote offended him, and if so which part. so perhalps i could rephrase or applogise.
    what the * the matter with that?


    i'll cheer anybody who is wearing a Scotland strip. to me, which club he plays for holds no value when playing for the country
