My first thought was he’s pished, kept repeating himself and turning round to the crowd fist pumping etc. Saying his 10 month old son is quite advanced and was able to send him a text message, * mental. Was just a totally bizarre interview.

His comments with regards to winning the game for his country and doing it for the UK, were imo racist and inexcusable. Also at least twice said he wanted to hurt asada, and hurt him in the face.

I have my doubts but hopefully the book is thrown at him as his behaviour on a whole was disgraceful. Get the * thrown out.

James Wade is mentally unstable/unwell and has been for quite some time. He's a very strange fella.

Wade is a geat darts player who we all know is bi-polar.Unless we walk in his shoes I dont think we can judge what goes through his head .
Not an excuse as he was bang out of order.Surprised as he seems to be a in a good place in his life as in just having first kid with a tidy mrs (ex walk on girl in the darts). He has put on the beef the last few years as well .

Wade is not unknown to speaken out and I always liked his interview with sky about the crowd at ally pally the other year

Wade said: "The crowd made it awkward because they were not interested in the darts one little bit. In my opinion, why go if they are not interested?

"The best darts crowd in the world is Blackpool. They pay attention to what is going on, they actually know what is happening and, I hate to say it, down south in London, from where I come from, they have not got a clue.

"I think up north they have more of an interest in darts and down south they use it as an excuse because they are not allowed out by their girlfriends or wives."

Being bipolar does not account for his racist views. Unfortunately for him.

Fancy Michael Smith to go far. Also have a few bets on outsiders I think could go on a bit of a run.

    Adrian Lewis 50/1
    Luke Humphries 125/1
    Jamie Lewis 250/1
    Brendan Dolan 250/1
    Van De Pas 400/1
    Mervyn King 400/1

Mad that one of Gerwyn Price, Ian White, Kyle Anderson, Van De Pas, Toni Alcinas, Brendan Dolan or Mervyn King will be in the semi final barring upsets.

I had Jamie lewis playing for €20k for me last year, had him backed at 500/1 each way and he lost to Taylor in the semi final I'll never forget it haha

Just watching Henderson v Clemens. Commentator said that Henderson was a big Celtic fan and has a season ticket and goes to the games when he can.

Then the other commentator came in and said bet he is enjoying having rangers at the top of the league right now.

What table are you looking at mate because they aren’t top :56::56:

100%. As someone who has his own battles with mental health, I have huge empathy for anybody suffering. However, people shouldn't excuse someone being a * because of it.

He is right about the crowd at Ally Pally. I have to watch it with the sound off.

Superb from Henderson earlier, outstanding on the doubles and that got him through. If he can keep up those sort of percentages on the doubles and maybe add another point or two onto his average he has a chance against Smith.

Just caught up with the whole ordeal.
His interview after the match was like something someone from Britain First or the ESP would come out with.

I liked Price at the start for shaking it up and love his desire and the fact he’s not a fat alky like a lot of darts players but recently his antics have been * poor and I’m glad he’s been papped to *.

Been a cracking tournement so far, there is a real chance of a new name on the trophy,at the very least a debut finalist.Ando was lucky to survive but did well doing so,he and Gerwen are still the hot favourites but are going to be tested to the hilt in this event.
Another big shock was Gurney going out.
