When you play for this club there will always be strong competition for places so he should expect that he might not play where he wants but where we need him. It's up to him to show something when he gets an opportunity regardless if he has rarely played. If he wants to continue playing he needs to show up well in those fleeting performances much like Ryan Christie did. I just don't think he's good enough.

Pay someone to take him off us..

 

Feel for the guy ,I don't think you would find anyone who wants it more than him ,but we need players who are waiting to come on and they can be game changers and have an impact .

Was the best player in Scotland outwith Celtic for the last couple of years before he signed for us, and was always a pain in the * when he was at Inverness.

Came here, Brendan persisted in playing him at RM/RW, absolutely pointless when his greatest strength is his directness - getting the ball and charging down the left, also has a good cross on him.

Was coming into some right good form before breaking his leg, but other than that wee period he's been criminally underused by Rodgers (who signed him, remember...)

Sadly he's got the Hendry factor, when he plays we generally play *. Coincidence ?

 

Ask the manager about that one, he generally only throws Hayes on when we are playing *.....and even that's when he gets minutes.

Got to disagree here Pad. He never has and never will be good enough for Celtic.

I don't blame him for taking the chance, we all would but he adds nothing to us. Rodgers signed him against popular opinion and seems to be trying desperately to prove it wasn't a mistake, when everyone can see that it is.

In his 4 starts this season we've only won 1. We need to cut our losses and try to recoup something/get a club to take him on loan.
