Made a complete * of it today, team looked baffled by the formation, looked as though they hadnt met eachother before ffs.
Hibs only beaten once at home all year the warning was there, this isnt a game to be trying out mad formations ffs.

The manager seems to either insist on keeping possession under pressure, or he has filed to tell the players to be more direct and proactive with the ball. The players on the pitch today should be able to make forward passes. But they are * hesitant. Does my nuts in.

 

Its a fair point but the fact is we are supposed to have the best squad in the league, certainly the most expensive. We have also got the, alleged, best manager in the league, again, certainly the highest paid.

Now, while i completely agree with what you say, the alarming thing is not one of the names stated have been brought to the club by rodgers. Apart from the loanee benkovic there isnt a player he has brought in that anyone could assuredly say is an automatic starter or one of the 1st names on the team sheet. It could even be argued that benkovic is only here because we failed to get Scott mckenna.

The players he has brought in are either inconsistent, bang average or complete mince. Therein lies the problem, we can't keep relying on a core of players within the 1st 11, with our circumstances we should be able to spread the responsibility out at least a little.

We are all on tenterhooks here to see what happens in january. Another poor window and we could genuinely not win the league, and to be frank, it's really anyone's guess whether he can or can't deliver the window needed.

Hibs have probably two of slowest full backs in the league and he puts Sinclair and Forrest in the midfield rather than play wingers in a 4-3-3. Changed it far too late bringing Johnston on when our wide players were absolute shambles, needs to be a bit more ruthless in making changes even if it's early on in the game. Dubliner is spot on in saying don't blame injuries for getting pumped by a hibs side that had their own injury issues. We should have more than enough depth in our team to beat hibs but unfortunately his signings have been atrocious and showed when Jonny Hayes managed to do worse than an off-form Izaguirre and you're relying on him, a St Mirren player and a 19 year old who has played just less than 400 minutes of football this season (4.4 full games) to turn around a 2 goal deficit away from home . Also Where has our pressing game gone all of sudden?

Around 60m in wage bills currently so this amazing transfer window that we all want is not going to happen unless a mass clear out of deadwood are sold or released.

 

Doesn't always take a lot of money. Leigh Griffiths came in January, didn't cost a great deal and had an immediate impact, likewise Kris commons, Paul Hartley, Barry Robson. Even the right loan deal. Plus, let's face it he will still have more funds than any other manager in the league no matter how tight the board are.

Doesn't seem like the type to lose his cool with players. somtimes the players need a kick up the * at half time. Games like today have happened before and you barely see a reaction after half time.

Ajer is slow on the turn. Play safe in the middle and can go forward..

Benkovic extremely comfortable on the left and played left all season with Boyata..

Brendan needed a kick up the * aswell at half time . Everyone could see the formation wasnt working after 5mins and he didnt change it . Why he didnt just put Forrest and Sinclair back in there normal positions and put McGregor behind Eddy after 10mins i dont know
