    To be expected with how long he’s been out really, one freak injury after another.

    Thought he filled in decently there, made one of the best tackles I’ve ever seen tonight as well.

    He almost cost us a goal in the first-half, was fairly wasteful with the ball and missed an absolute sitter, in fact, if he had left it, it probably would have gone in.

    Are you serious? You detest a young, inexperienced Celtic player in his first game back, not match fit and filling in out of position as part of a back 4 who AFAIK have never played together as a unit, against a top European side and who did OK considering? :39:

    I like the guy... He's only 20 and is a cdm, it's only since Rodgers came in he's been playing as a cb, he's learning and will come good. That said.... HOW THE FK DID HE MISS THAT.....

    Tbf he was thrown in at RB after being out for so long and they were excellent in their press..

    He still made two horrendous ones right enough.

    Fair assessment. Guys hasn't seen first team football in ages and then wedged in a unfamiliar position. Bar that shocking miss and stray pass I think he did alright. For the goal we conceded he got closer to the scorer than jozo, despite the fact he had his own man to mark back post.

    Ajer has plenty of development in him. I think jozo is about as good as he will ever be. Ajer ahead of jozo for me

    I didn't say I hated him all the time, just that his performance tonight - a series of significant errors really really infuriated me. :celtman2:

    If you look back in this thread, I've usually been quite positive about him. :98:
