    He definitely had questions to answer which he has comprehensively domestically, now for Thursday...

    To be fair, the football was dire and we were dropping points. Folk (myself included) wanted to see something done about it, wanted him to turn it around, but if he couldn't then we wanted to know how long do you persist with the level of football we had to endure.

    Rodgers has came back brilliantly to put any of that doubt to bed. There is a good feeling around the team just now, long may it continue and get better as we go.

    Rodgers is no doubt the best manager we have been able to get, but he was not above criticism when things were going bad.

    Thursday will be a very tough match, but being at home should help us a fair bit. Still a bit unsure of our defending in Europe but if they can play well then it gives us a good chance of a result.

    No-one said he was above criticism, and I think that's become a bit of a myth that perpetuates around any discussion about his management.

    They’re their for the taking for me. Having Benkovic finally available for a European game is massive for me as well.

    Thanks, I was actually wondering if he was available. That's a huge bonus for us.

    BR: We are certainly in a much better place than we were a number of weeks ago. The team’s very confident. Playing well, scoring goals and defensively strong.

    BR: "It's a tough game for us and we love playing at Celtic Park. If we've any opportunity to progress, we know it's a game we need to win"

    BR: "It’s a pressure game but not every pressure situation is a negative. We've seen these pressure moments, at times, show our qualities

    BR: "It's always a different game at Celtic Park. Our supporters push us on and help us. We'll need to be at the very highest level to get a result."

    BR: "We always have something to prove - domestically or in Europe. That's what you do as a player or manager in every game. I think in Europe, I'm very realistic in where we're at. That doesn't stop us wanting to get really good results.

    BR: "This season we're in the #UEL and we want to get out of the group and go as far as we possibly can. We want to do our very best and that's all we ever look to do.

    BR: "For me, every game is a big game at #CelticFC. Every week is a big week. It's a very good group and we'll fight to the very end to qualify."

    BR on
    @ryanchristie2
    : "He's been brilliant in this little spell. I had a really good chat with him during the week. To see his progress is a huge credit to him. He has the confidence to fill the shirt. If he can sign a new deal that'll be absolutely great."

    BR on
    @mulumbuofficial
    : "He trained this week and is back in the squad."

    Give him his own private jet and whatever he wants, we can't let him leave ever. Can't believe we've got a genuine world class manager in charge.

    think he got the sub wrong by taking forrest off as most of their defenders were on yellow cards and the way the last 10 mins went think forrest would have carried the ball and maybe caused a red card for leipzig .

    :BR Tonight was a proper win for us against top class side. Everyone knows the quality of
    @RBLeipzig_EN
    . Everyone involved with #CelticFC deserves a huge amount of credit."

    BR: "The supporters were absolutely magnificent. It’s always a very emotional game at Celtic Park and that synergy between the players and fans got the points for us. It was a fantastic result.

    BR: "The most important thing was to win and win well. Still a few games to go and we’ll do our best to qualify."

    BR: " It’s the mark of the very best players, when it does go against you, to still fight and believe that you can win. At 1-1 they responded straight away and had that belief to get a fantastic winning goal. It was a great victory for us.

    BR: "We showed no fear, played with aggression and brought our identity to the game. It’s nice that they can do it, not just domestically, but against one of the best teams in Europe. It was a fantastic victory for us and one I’m very proud of.

    BR on Paradise: "It’s one of the most intimidating arenas in European football. Some of the best teams in the world have came to Celtic Park over the years and suffered. It was a really emotional game, our players fed off that and they helped us to the victory."

    BR on Livingston: "We’ve shown domestically our form and rhythm is back. It’ll be a difficult game, playing on an astro pitch against a team that have came up and started the season well. We’ll give Livingston respect and it’s up to us to impose our game."

    For those who are in love.....
    For any doubters that the team weren't playing for him..

    I know that's all but gone but you'll never see a bigger team effort than that tonight. Fighting like * for each other..

    100% got his and our mojo back..

    He and the team owed us a big European performance and that went over and above tonight for me. Class..
