    Dembele, Toure, Sinclair, Ntcham, Edouard.

Those are the only signings he can get pass marks for the now. And even at that some of them haven't been good at points, and two/three of those might not even be HIS signings.

Why does that only count with incoming players? £20mil for Dembele, plus 2 years left of a £1.3mil per year contract. We count his sale as worth £22.6mil, then?

Well if you want to deal in percentage terms to suit your argument then the modest investment would be 14.7% of our revenue in the 2017/18 year.

I think you can make some decent points but the arrogant & dismissive way you speak to people on here make it pointless to get involved in any sort of meaningful conversation.

Putting emojis at the end of your posts doesn't make your point any more valid or any other person's perspective less valid but if that's the way you want to conduct yourself then that's your choice.

And getting those figures in would be down to Lawwell, not Rodgers.

That's what he brought Congerton in for..

A major boo boo against him as well as at first I tried to give it the benefit of doubt, but it's looking like a major black mark against his own recruitment..

I can't help but notice your Andy Thom pic looks frighteningly like a young Daniel Craig.

I think that the last transfer window could prove to be the best one yet, strangely enough:

    Bain
    Édouard
    Izaguirre
    Arzani
    Mulumbu
    Benković

We conducted ourselves poorly during the summer, but I can see all of those players contributing something, which is a start.

Never seen that before but I can definitely see the resemblance. I'll need to find a new picture now.

Was good management to prioritise the league cup, taking the team to train at Murryfield, and ensure the grass was cut to play the Celtic way. Get it up Levien the natural order is Rodgers and the rest. That weekend was what Celtic dreams were made of. A standout fixture, without doubt my personal favourite league cup game of all time in front of a record Scottish crowd of modern times. Putting Hearts in their place on their own turf. Beautiful Sunday.

I couldn't care less if we are knocked out of the group stages anymore. As long as we put up a fight. I blame the recruitment, the unrelenting injury crisis, and the board that just don't want to break the glass ceiling they set themselves every few years. The team needs refreshed. But we should focus on wiping the floor of the domestic scene. The media have set us up to fail this season and Rangers to succeed. They say Rodgers has no ambition - a desperate smear - he's making millions he's happy in Scotland, he is a Celtic man, and he's delivering unrivalled success in the history of our club. Rodgers is a record breaking Celtic legend. Worth every penny. He is delivering a golden era of success, when he is gone we will yearn for the days he's delivered.

If Congerton is indeed the problem (I suspect that he is a big part of it), he needs to be shown the door immediately.

    Agreed

    But the questions:

    1) why don’t you have a solid dependable defence and why do you rate shitehawks like Hendry and Simo

    2) why are you * in almost every away game and why do you never learn

    ...are unanswered

Winning everything in Scotland at a canter because the opposition is dogshit ain’t enough

Boyata, Ajer and Benkovic are good enough.

We’ve been * in every away game since the beginning of time.

Please don’t try and downplay his achievements. It makes you look stupid.

It isn't a case of suiting an argument, the simple fact of the matter is 50% is not a modest amount in anyone's book. Not sure I would say almost 15% is that modest an amount either but that doesn't matter now.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I will say though, in general, I'm as polite as anyone else on here but if someone wants to try and be a smart/funny * with me I won't be shy in responding and I won't make any apologies for that either, but if anyone is that upset then they should use the report button and not simply greet about it.
I do agree, sometimes getting involved in a meaningful discussion with some on here is utterly pointless given some of the claims posted.

I have never claimed they make my points more valid. However if I wish to use them I will, just as plenty others do on here. But, as I said, if you don't like that then don't respond to my opinion or don't reply with something that is simply funny, as I may well use an emoji then :50:
