Domestically, he is untouchable. His record for 2 and a half years is immaculate.

Every single time questions are asked he has answered them emphatically.

Another masterclass in terms of substitutions and tweaks. Gets it right every time.

Not bad our Brendan is he? 5th straight final on course for 7th straight trophy. Not above critic for some decisions this season but for me still the best man to take the club forward which he will!

Amazing to think of how nervous semi finals and finals used to make us due to some * results under Lennon and Deila, never have any doubts these days his ability to get results in the big domestic games is terrific.

MACHINE never lost a game at Hampden yet and you can now add Murrayfield to that list too.

I go back to what I have continuously said. He can't manage in Europe. We need a manager who can manage in Europe. If Basel can find a way, so can we.

Agree with the Basel part. Find myself torn on criticism toward Brendan though. Domestically he will be one of our most successful managers. And in years to come young Celtic fans will think it must have been special. I’d have given both nuts for this domination back in the 90s. After our performances against City in Europe I thought we’d kick on.

We need to provide our elite level manager with the appropriate tools to take on the European challenge.

His utter domestic dominance facilitates the breathing space he should be provided for the poor European results, that’s without factoring in that he’s taken us to the Champions League twice neither of which were a given.

    * Basel.

I think it’s disappointing that Brendan is boss during a time when the money to compete in Europe is beyond real. Even wages is a big stumbling block. I think our downfall is that we don’t play to our limitations because that ain’t the Celtic way. Strachan done it and it’s possible when you look at teams from countries comparable to ours. But we don’t set up right. We do or die and it is not working for us because we don’t have players who can achieve that in European competition. But domestically we are spoilt rotten which makes the horsings in CL or Europa hard to swallow. Thank * for our great support. Best in Europe bar none.

    Europe for me divided support.

Some you get are what I call Champ League snobs - not the big comp am not interested.

    Some think it's a distraction.

    Others strive for progress.

He is set in his ways and we will never shut up shop to his detriment.

For me I am a domestic dominance part that thinking it is a distraction for me bread and butter and domestic trophies for me anything beyond a EL or CL group stage is a bonus.

Our EL group has more domestic champions than ANY CL group!!!!

Foreign investors and sky have killed football as have UEFA!

Long gone are the days of Scottish clubs doing anything in Europe meaningful IMO regardless of who is in charge.

Lennon lives off the Barca result apart from that his record wasn't great in Group stages results wise.

Unsure fella, he prioritised a league cup we have won twice in a row over a clash/six pointer for the second qualification place in the Europa League.

I get btw pal he needs to be backed and it still hurts not getting McGinn because the board where stingy although I bet JM regrets moving their now.

Course McGinn with regret it with Bruce going but he said the reason he went there also was because he didn't feel he could get game time.
