McGregor can be useful in Europe. He’s scored some very important goals for us but lacks the belief and can go into his shell a bit sometimes.

If he sorts this and adds some consistency (there’s a myth that he’s mr consistent, he’s never been that in his time here) then he’s potentially a top class player.

He isn’t the only one in this squad with this though. Rogic’s my favourite player but has the same issues.

He's obviously a good player but his positional discipline is terrible, when he has a bad game (like in Leipzig) it's because he's all over the place taking the ball in positions we have better players in. One minute he was crowding out Christie in the center, the next he's standing 2ft infront of Morgan at right wing back, then he's having a go at defensive midfield.

For my money his best position is rotating with Ntcham, recycling possession from midfield, laying off to wingers/fullbacks. He's not physical enough to be a Broony replacement and he's forever back to goal when he's in the #10, killing momentum.

Skilful, technical, adaptable and a real eye for goal. Scored some crucial goals in the invincible run ( thinking Motherwell and Hibs to name just two). He will do for me...

    Lovely footballer.

Had a shaky first half, but showed his class in the second.

He is a very good player. But he is not a winger. He should never play in that role again unless an extreme emergency. We have Sinclair, Morgan and Hayes who are natural to that and many players who would a better job improvised in the left wing than him

    I love him.

One of the most important people in the squad.

    Agreed

As the game moved on he improved vastly although granted the whole team was dominant. But very very poor first half, countless mistakes.

Hope he gets back up to last year but for me it's him or Oli to make way in team when Scott comes back.

Like many was poor first half, but second half moved up by about 3 gears and they didn’t have a player in their side who could even get close to him.

What a * player he is, i genuinely believe barring the very elite he could slot in and do a job at just about any club in the world at this moment in time.
